Visit Wat Pang Fuang, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. This post I will take everyone to see another temple in Chiang Dao District. This temple is called Wat Pang Fuang. Wat Pang Fuang is the 99th temple I shared in my country. Wat Pang Fuang is a common monastery located along highway 107. And this temple is another temple in the quiet countryside. Where local Thai people and ethnic groups live together. I only know that this temple was granted permission to be established as a temple in AD 1999 or 26 years ago. But I don't know when the temple was built.
On this trip, I visited the temple with my wife. When we arrived at the temple. We parked outside the temple to enjoyed the view outside the temple first. The view outside the temple is of the farms and mountains. And there are no houses in this area.
The temple sign is located on the side of the road. We can see it from a distance. The temple sign is made of wood and looks simple.
On the side of the road, there are also stairs with two naga statues.
In addition, outside the temple there are also statues of various animals. These animals are statues of the 12 Thai zodiac animals.
The main entrance of the temple has a wooden arch in Lanna art style. And there are two lion statues on the left and right sides of the arch. There is a wall around this entrance.
But we entered the temple from the side without walls and arch. When entering the temple area on this side, We saw the outdoor buddha images first. A main buddha image is a buddha image in the royal attire in the attitude of subduing mara. And has a tierred umbrella.
On the left and right sides of the main buddha image are nine small gold color buddha images.
Behind these buddha images is a small white pagoda. I think this small pagoda contains the bones of the monk.
There are only two sacred architectures in this temple : the buddha image hall (viharn) and the large pagoda. A large buddha image hall (viharn) built and decorated in Lanna art style. Looks beautiful and has a unique northern Thai style. The entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn) is a staircase with two naga statues.
A large white pagoda with the square base and bottom, the middle of the pagoda is the polygonal shape with the standing buddha images on four sides. The top of the pagoda is in the shape of a bell with tierred umbrella.
In addition, there are other buildings inside the temple, but I don't know what are they. There is a two story bell tower made of wood. And has the section containing the monks' living quarters.
Finally the pavilion, This pavilion is an old pavilion without walls. Inside the pavilion there is a statue of a monk and many sacred round stones (Luuk nimit).
These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

Thailand is such a beautiful country, both in natural beauty but also in the culture. I always enjoy seeing the cool building and sculptures they have all over. Do you know what type of stone the round sacred stones are in the last photo?
