Visit Tha Salae Village and Wat Tha Salae, Fang District, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I have plans and intentions to visit temples in our district and nearby districts or nearby provinces in a limited time of approximately 6-7 hours. Because we have to send our son (Autistic child, child with special needs) to school in the morning and pick up son from school in the afternoon. Therefore we have limited free time, only 6-7 hours. We planned and intended since last year to visit all the temples. And visit many temples. But we are still unable to visit all temples in our district and nearby districts or nearby provinces.

Last week so we drove around our district and went to see villages in districts that we had never known. This village is called Tha Salae Village. This village is another rural village in our district. Usually in rural villages there is a village temple. So we stopped and visited this village before visiting this village temple. The atmosphere in Tha Salae Village is a village among nature. Of course the houses in this village were single-story houses. There are houses made of wood. And houses made of bricks and plastered with cement.

In addition to visiting the home areas of this village, we also visited the farms of the people in the village. Which is mostly rice fields. The atmosphere looks fresh and shady. The atmosphere that day for us, it was beautiful and fascinating.

This village temple has the same name as the village. This temple is called Wat Tha Salae. Wat Tha Salae is a rural common monastery. This temple was allowed to be established as a temple in AD 1937 or 87 years ago.

The temple has a beautiful and unique entrance arch. In addition around the entrance arch there are two lion statues, both of which are created in the Lanna art style. (Ancient northern Thai art).

There is a brown wall surrounding the temple. And there is the buddha images on the wall too.

When entering the temple, we will see the buddha image hall (viharn) and ordination hall (ubosot), looks beautiful and outstanding. In addition the two sacred architectures are unique and different from other temples. Of course my wife and I liked both sacred architecture. And there is a pagoda behind the ordination hall (ubosot) too.

Another atmosphere in the temple has many buddha images and statues.

These are the stories and photos of Tha Salae Village and Wat Tha Salae I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
