Visit and eat local food in Yunnan Chinese Village, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. This morning my wife and I went to visit my wife's relatives in Chai Prakan District. We planned to go to a Yunnan Chinese village this morning. This village is the largest Yunnan Chinese community in the district. And is another ethnic community living in the northern of Thailand. This morning's atmosphere is overcast, but it's not raining. This village is about 11 kilometers from the house of my wife's relatives.

Some atmospheres of this journey.

The main reason we went to this Yunnan Chinese village. We want to eat local food from this place. My wife's relatives recommended a mini restaurant in the village. It is a mini restaurant in the house. Which looks simple. And these are the atmosphere in this restaurant and the our food.

After lunch, It's time to walk and drive around the village. It is a large village with many houses. I think this community has more than 100 houses. And many mini restaurants like this. There is a mini gas station, market and schools. And this village has a Chinese shrine as a place of religious ceremonies.

There are 2 schools in this community : a Thai school and a Chinese school. From morning to afternoon, children will study in thai school as normal. And in the evening the children study in a Chinese school. We walked in a Chinese school too. which is the largest Chinese school in Chai Prakan District and nearby districts.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

Wow the place looks so peaceful and clean. The food looks delicious too. I hope you had a grand time over there. There are a lot of Chinese communities in almost all countries, and I think it speaks greatly about how Chinese people have mastered trade and travelling looking for better opportunities for better life. Enjoy your travels and I look forward to seeing more from you and your lovely wife.

We always miss the local food that we grew up eating. Just like you, when I go back to my homecity, I also buy the local delicacies that I ate when I was a kid. I am sure you were full and contented of the food you ate. The community looks well-maintained by the local people. It looks quiet and peaceful. Enjoy your future trips!
