My home garden #9 : Gymnema inodorum and food with gymnema inodorum.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In my home garden there are many healthy and beneficial vegetables. And there are vegetables as herbs too. One of these vegetables is gymnema inodorum. In Thailand, northern local people call gymnema inodorum : Chiang Da. Central Thai people call gymnema inodorum : Jin Da. And Thai people from other regions call gymnema inodorum : Pak Wan, Pak Muan and other. This vegetable is mostly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia (ASEAN).
I have been growing gymnema inodorum in my home garden for many years. It is an easy vegetable to care. I only water it once or twice a week. And in the rainy season, gymnema inodorum can be harvested for cooking several times. Although there is not much gymnema inodorum in the home garden.

Food that uses gymnema inodorum as ingredients.
Mostly gymnema inodorum is harvested for its young leaves for cooking. In Thailand (my country), young gymnema inodorum leaves are used to make clear soups. My wife likes to make clear soup with gymnema inodorum too. The clear soup she cooks with shrimp paste and pork rinds every time. This is a clear soup with gymnema inodorum that my wife cooked with other vegetables 7 days ago.
