My home garden #18 and our simple food today.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. This morning my wife and I have some work to do in our home garden. But we have to send our son and granddaughter to school first. Few days ago, my wife's mother saw a snake in the home. The grass and weeds in the home garden are quite overgrown now. So we had to pull the grass and weeds in our home garden again. After we pulled the grass and weeds, we walked around and picked little vegetables in our home garden to cook simple foods today. We picked a little vegetables with papaya to make som tam.

These are the vegetables and papaya we picked from our home garden.

And this is the som tam my wife made for lunch this time.

We picked pandan leaves from the garden to cook with sticky rice.

Sticky rice my wife cooked this time for lunch was eaten with som tam.

And another our lunches today was fried chicken.

We also picked chaya or mexican kale from our home garden to cook dinner. But my wife makes chaya in the evening.

Finally we picked bamboo shoots from the bamboos area in the garden.

But my wife didn't cook bamboo shoots today. My wife just peels and chop them. Then take chopped bamboo shoots and pickle them with water and salt. After about 2-3 days, the wife will cook these preserved bamboo shoots. And in my other post I will share a dish cook with these preserved bamboo shoots.
