Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I will take everyone to see the traditions in the district where I live. This tradition is a tradition of making merit and paying homage to the king and queen, who once ruled the ancient city in the area of this district hundreds of years ago. And a monument to both of them was built in the district park to respect and pay homage, My wife has brought me here many times. Every year this district holds this traditional festival. And this year this traditional festival is held from 26 - 30 June.

Yesterday my wife and I had some free time. So we went to join this traditional festival too. Unfortunately we were late, Because we have to send the children to school first. So we didn't get to see the parade from the road to the park where the monument is located. But we see the parade before entering the park and inside the outdoor courtyard in the park. The atmosphere at the traditional festival was full of people and lively.

Ceremonies at traditional festival begin with religious ceremonies first. And there were many monks participating in religious ceremonies. Then there were many local shows such as many northern Thai traditional dance, local shows and traditional dances of the TaiYai peoples, local drama shows and others.

In addition to the shows and religious ceremonies at this traditional festival, inside the traditional festival there are many shops selling food, drinks, snacks, and sweets too.

In the evening and at night there are shows as well. There are also concerts, boxing matches and shops similar to temple fair. But my wife and I are not convenient and have free time in the evening and at night.
