A day with my wife and the home garden.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today is the first day of this week that my autistic son go to a special needs school. And my granddaughter's school for the first day of school starts too. So my wife and I have about 6 hours of free time after we send the kids to school. At first we planned to foliar spray fertilizer to nourish the longan trees in our family's longan orchard. But last night it rained and the sky is still overcast this morning. So we changed our plans. After sending the kids to school, we went to the wet market. My wife wanted some ingredients to make the simple meal this week. So we bought them at the wet market and didn't go to the supermarket this week. The closest fresh market that opens from morning to evening is Nong Yao Market. This market is near my son's school. But it is about 12 kilometers from our home. There is no parking at Nong Yao Market, but we can park at the temple and walk to the market.

We buy rice noodles, pork meatballs, pork sausage, food and other things here.

There are vendors who are hill tribe people and local Thai people selling vegetables and fruits near the temple entrance arch too. Watermelons are cheap now. So we bought watermelons too.

When we bought the things and ingredients we needed, we went home immediately. The sky is still overcast but it is not raining.

When we got home. My wife and I helped pull out the grass and weeds in the home garden again. After last week we still haven't finished pulling out the grass and weeds. Then I walked around the garden to look at the vegetables and fruits. Vegetables and fruits such as eggplant, cucumber, guava, mango and others in the home garden. I will use plastic bags to wrap them to prevent insects and worms. Because I'm not a chemical. And they are chemical free vegetables and fruits.

The jackfruit tree is bearing fruit and the fruit is big but not yet ripe.

There are many banana trees in the home garden, but now only one of them bears fruit.

Lunch for today. My wife doesn't cook. But we bought food at the wet market. It was spaghetti with sausage.

For dinner my wife thinks she will cook stir-fried water convolvulus with bitter gourd and fried eggs. Because in the home garden right now there are many water convolvulus and bitter gourd.

In the afternoon we picked up our son and granddaughter from school. And care for kids at home. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

Local markets are delightful to see or visit as they offer different products that we need which are sold fresh and cheaper. It's nice to buy directly from farmers so we can also support their products. Your garden is thriving; vegetables can be harvested soon. I like jackfruits; they have pleasant smell and delicious too. Hope your son can adjust easily at his school also.
