Hola, hivers😘✨✨✨. Que la paz y el amor sean con ustedes.

Es cierto que no hace falta un día o una fecha señalada para homenajear a una madre,eso está claro, sin embargo, para no desentonar, aquí estoy felicitando a la mía y a todas las madres del mundo. Desde ayer estoy intentando hacerle una décima decorosa y esto fue lo que logré, una décima cursi, como debe ser, porque el amor, si no es cursi, no es amor.

MADRE

Mi madre, que más que madre
es mi credo y es mi diosa
con su luz, mi ser rebosa
de ilusión y no es desmadre.
Ella es, junto a mi padre
mi guia y fiel compañera
su rostro es la primavera
en mis días de tristeza
porque tengo la certeza
de su amor, que no es quimera.

SHOWING OFF MY MOM.

Hello, hivers😘✨✨✨. Peace and love be upon you all.

It’s true that we don’t need a specific day or date to honor a mother—that’s clear. Still, not to miss the occasion, here I am celebrating mine and all mothers worldwide. Since yesterday, I’ve been trying to write a proper décima for her, and this is what I managed: a cheesy décima, as it should be, because love, if not cheesy, isn’t love at all.

MOTHER

My mother, more than a mother,
my creed and goddess true,
with her light, my being anew
overflows with joy—no bother.
She, alongside my father,
guides me, faithful and near.
Her face is spring, crystal-clear,
in my days draped in sorrow,
for I know, with no tomorrow,
her love’s real, no chimera here.
