Hola, mis amigos. Un saludo fraternal para todos.

Hoy hace frío en La Habana, el primer día en que se ha empezado a sentir algo del invierno. En días así, prefiero quedarme en casa, en mi templo amarillo. Adoro el color amarillo, por eso siempre trato de estar rodeada de él. Mi casa es mi refugio espiritual, un símbolo de intimidad y de mis raíces. Es el lugar donde el descanso, la comida y la rutina se entrelazan con lo trascendente, con los sueños, los recuerdos y con el crecimiento del alma.

It's cold in Havana today, the first day where a bit of winter has begun to be felt. On days like this, I prefer to stay at home, in my yellow temple. I adore the color yellow, which is why I always try to surround myself with it. My home is my spiritual refuge, a symbol of intimacy and my roots. It is the place where rest, food, and routine intertwine with the transcendent, with dreams, memories, and with the growth of the soul.

Toda casa es un mundo que cada cual crea a su gusto y sobre todo, según sus posibilidades. Una casa amarilla, como la mía, es un micromundo bañado de luz, así me gusta verla, un espacio físico capaz de transformarse en el rincón para reír, llorar y sanar. El amarillo no es un color discreto, lo sé. No se esconde como el beige ni se encierra en su propia profundidad como el azul marino. El amarillo es atrevido, como yo, es el color del sol, de la energía primera que da vida, de la claridad y la alegría. Una casa de este color, por tanto, no es un simple sitio que guarda vidas, es una irreverente declaración de intenciones.

Every house is a world that each person creates to their liking and, above all, according to their possibilities. A yellow house, like mine, is a micro-world bathed in light—that's how I like to see it—a physical space capable of transforming into the corner for laughing, crying, and healing. Yellow is not a discreet color, I know. It doesn't hide like beige nor enclose itself in its own depth like navy blue. Yellow is bold, like me; it is the color of the sun, of the primary energy that gives life, of clarity and joy. A house of this color, therefore, is not a simple place that shelters lives; it is an irreverent statement of intent.

La sala de mi casa da una bienvenida radiante,una promesa de calidez a todo el que la visita. Mi casa es el antídoto arquitectónico contra la penumbra y el desaliento en los días tristes. Al traspasar la puerta, no entro solo a un lugar, sino a un estado de ánimo. La luz que se filtra por sus ventanas parece teñida de oro,iluminando no solo muebles, ventiladores, televisión, sino también los rincones de mi alma. En una casa amarilla, como la mía, no puede faltar un rincón de lectura con una butaca o sofá viejo y desgastado. Hace poco cambié mis libreros para mi habitación; ahora mis libros duermen junto a mí, junto al rincón de la inspiración, donde las ideas germinan con la fuerza de los botones en primavera.

The living room of my house offers a radiant welcome, a promise of warmth to all who visit. My home is the architectural antidote to gloom and despondency on sad days. When I cross the threshold, I don't just enter a place, but a state of mind. The light filtering through its windows seems tinged with gold, illuminating not only furniture, fans, and television, but also the corners of my soul. In a yellow house, like mine, there cannot be missing a reading nook with an old, worn-out armchair or sofa. I recently changed my bookshelves to my bedroom; now my books sleep beside me, next to the corner of inspiration, where ideas germinate with the force of buds in spring.

La cocina, con sus toques de amarillo mostaza o limón, deja de ser un espacio solo para preparar los alimentos, es un arcoíris, un caleidoscopio. Para mí, el acto de preparar la comida se convierte en un ritual, donde los ingredientes de mi patio se impregnan de la vitalidad del color. Es el rincón de la gratitud y del ingenio, porque a veces hay que hacer magias para cocinar. En días como hoy,me apetece tomar una sopa, una taza de té o de chocolate; esto puede ser un acto de meditación, un momento para saborear el presente y olvidar el futuro.

The kitchen, with its touches of mustard or lemon yellow, ceases to be just a space for preparing food; it is a rainbow, a kaleidoscope. For me, the act of preparing a meal becomes a ritual, where the ingredients from my patio are imbued with the vitality of the color. It is the corner of gratitude and ingenuity, because sometimes you have to work magic to cook. On days like today,I feel like having soup, a cup of tea or hot chocolate; this can be an act of meditation, a moment to savor the present and forget the future.

He crecido bajo la influencia del color amarillo, el color que representa a la Virgen de la Caridad, patrona de Cuba, deidad con la que siempre me he identificado. El amarillo unifica todos los elementos de mi vida, recordándome que la espiritualidad no siempre habita en catedrales, sino que puede florecer en lo simple de lo cotidiano. Mi casa es amarilla por elección y por convicción, es sencilla pero acogedora, es un refugio espiritual lejos de austeridades y rom-bombancias (o pomposidades). Pintar estas paredes, físicas o anímicas, con el color del sol, es una forma de fe, una apuesta por la esperanza, por la vida y una invitación permanente a que mi espíritu, como la propia casa, brille con luz propia, haciendo de cada rincón un santuario para una existencia más iluminada, resiliente y placentera.

I have grown up under the influence of the color yellow, the color that represents Our Lady of Charity, the patron saint of Cuba, a deity with which I have always identified. Yellow unifies all the elements of my life, reminding me that spirituality does not always dwell in cathedrals, but can flourish in the simplicity of the everyday. My house is yellow by choice and by conviction; it is simple but cozy, a spiritual refuge far from austerities and pompousness (or pomposity). Painting these walls, physical or spiritual, with the color of the sun is a form of faith, a bet on hope, on life, and a permanent invitation for my spirit, like the house itself, to shine with its own light, making every corner a sanctuary for a more illuminated, resilient, and pleasurable existence.

Hace frio que bueno yo aquí tengo mucho vaporon.. jejejej pero estoy en mi casa y eso es lo mejor, y donde hay libros es el mejor sitio. Saludos amiga, bendiciones
