Two changes in our curation contest. One, we will do it twice a month. It is every other week this time. Two, in anticipation of 2026, there is also a change in the announcement image.

Now, let us proceed to the winners this week.

I don't know what's wrong, but it is taking more of my time than usual in retrieving posts published on https://www.hiveme.me/ since December 15. Perhaps there is a problem in the node. Out of necessity, I have to decide to limit the period for eligible entries. So far, I could only retrieve posts for the last three days.

Given the situation, the first eligible article is from @ladyaryastark. Her post is about a recollection of childhood Christmases, cherishing the happy memories of the past. Reading her post reminds me of my own experiences, even though I find it difficult to evaluate which one is happier. Of course, the old days were a lot simpler than today. Her post received 14 comments, 0 reblogs, and 126 likes.

The second article is from @tanzil2024. Unlike his previous post, this time the entry is about Splinterlands. His post received 2 reblogs, 6 comments, and 176 upvotes.

The third entry is from a newcomer. Her post is a reflection based on a biblical text. She emphasized the importance of living for something beyond earthly gains, suggesting that true fulfillment comes from seeking a higher, eternal purpose. She received 84 upvotes, 0 reblogs, and 1 comment.

The fourth eligible article is from @tasim7878. This is how AI summarized his article:

The post recounts the heartbreaking story of Fahad Hussain's mother, who, after losing her son in the Army Public School tragedy, continued to visit the school daily, hoping for his return, ultimately leading to her emotional deterioration and being chained for her safety. It highlights the profound grief and longing of a mother who has lost her child to violence.

That's a very unfortunate story, and it is just appropriate to sympathize with the pain of the suffering mother.

The post received 44 likes, 0 reblogs, and 0 comments.

Last but not least is from @princessluv. Her story is about cats. Many, especially in developed countries, can relate to this. In fact, not only cats but also dogs somehow provide companions that relieve one's stress. I've seen a lot of people in South Korea with their pets during my four years of stay in that country.

I guess in workplaces that allow cats, responsible ownership of pets is a must. In the case of our school, both cats and dogs are sources of stress on the part of the management. There are several cases where students were bitten, and it was the business office that shouldered the hospital expenses. Nobody wants to take ownership of those dogs and cats, and that is why part of our school policy is not to allow them within the school premises. Her post received 41 upvotes, 1 reblog, and 3 comments.

Congratulations to all the winners!

As already mentioned, I will take a one-week break and will resume the curation context next week.

More power to both the MemeHive and the Pepe tribes!
