Sukoi Bay | Alaska - Back on mainland!
Finally we left Kodiak and we are headed towards Mainland Alaska - Sukoi Bay.
[DEUTSCH]
Its much colder, but more scenic!

Instead of doing an overnighter to Seldovia, we decided to stay in Sukoi Bay—sleep through the night, then head to Seldovia the next day, making it a two-day trip rather than one. Unlike typical anchorages, this one was sheltered from the waves but not the wind, as the barrier/beach (visible in the image) was very low.
[DUETSCH]
But as many anchorages are open to a direction - this one was open to the north-east.

We would only use this for a night and tomorrow we would be in Soldovia - be sure to check that out as well!

I hope you enjoyed my little blog! If you did, be sure to follow along on my adventure around the Pacific Circle.
Until next time,

Your sailing adventure makes me wish I could try it at least once in my lifetime. 😆 Glad you're sharing lovely photos that I get to see beautiful places I'd probably not get to visit. Enjoy a wonderful week!

These days I was following the "Dead Horse" route. Alaska is beautiful in the summer.
