Memorias Navideñas. /Christmas Memories.
Las fiestas de fin de año son las más esperadas por la mayoría, nos hace pensar en la familia, en regalos, en comida, etc, en lo personal siempre me han gustado, desde los villancicos, la preparación de la comida navideña y el tratar de dar a los demás un poco de mi, soy feliz haciendo feliz.
En este ocasión me di a la tarea de ir preparando poco a poco la casa, aun que no seamos visitados, el hecho de ver los adornos, me hace tener un mayor espíritu navideño, el ver el árbol con sus luces, creo que nos hace olvidarnos un poco de los problemas de la vida cotidiana, hasta a mi gato le gusta el observar los adornos.
A mediados de Noviembre compramos un árbol de navidad, esferas, luces y una bella estrella, y en familia en compañía de una amiga de mi hija armamos el árbol y le pusimos cada detalle, también armamos un pequeño tren abajo del árbol, el cual terminamos quitando ya que los gatos lo desarmaban.

On this occasion I gave myself the task of preparing the house little by little, even if we are not visited, the fact of seeing the decorations, makes me have a greater Christmas spirit, seeing the tree with its lights, I think it makes us forget a little of the problems of everyday life, even my cat likes to watch the decorations.
In the middle of November we bought a Christmas tree, spheres, lights and a beautiful star, and as a family together with a friend of my daughter's we put the tree together and put every detail on it, we also put a little train under the tree, which we ended up removing because the cats were taking it apart.
Días después compré tela para la elaboración de un mantel y fieltro para unas botas navideñas, mi hija el hizo dobladillo del mantel y quedó listo.
A few days later I bought fabric to make a tablecloth and felt for some Christmas boots, my daughter hemmed the tablecloth and it was ready.
También corté unas hermosas botitas navideñas las cuales fueron costuradas a mano para darle un toque mas personal, y mi hija las decoró con diferentes personajes navideños y estrellas para que se vean mas vistosas (ella es muy ingeniosa en esas cosas), y las colgamos en la sala llenas de chocolates.
I also cut some beautiful Christmas booties which were hand sewn to give them a more personal touch, and my daughter decorated them with different Christmas characters and stars to make them look more colorful (she is very ingenious at those things), and we hung them in the living room full of chocolates.
Las mesas de la sala las adornamos con una parte del trenecito y con una pequeña aldea navideña, todo esto quedó hermoso gracias a mi hija, realmente yo no soy buena con las manualidades y ella si es muy buena para eso.
The tables in the living room were decorated with a part of the little train and a small Christmas village, all this was beautiful thanks to my daughter, I'm not really good with crafts and she is very good at it.
Como generalmente no salimos en noche buena, decidimos hacer unas pijamas para toda la familia, compré tela para pantalones y una playeras que mi hija pinto a mano con una imagen del Grinch.

Unos días previos a navidad acudí a un desayuno en el cual realizamos un pequeño intercambio de chocolates, con grandes amigas enfermeras que me apoyaron cuando realicé mi cambio a enfermería, de lo cual estoy muy agradecida, fue un excelente convivio.

Otro convivio que realizamos fue en el hospital donde trabajo, que aun que fue una noche con mucho trabajo, nos dimos tiempo de cenar y realizar un pequeño intercambio de regalos, ya que nos habíamos puesto de acuerdo para llevar algo para cenar, algo diferente a lo que nos sirven en el comedor, que se sintiera el espíritu festivo, preparé mi rollo de carne, hubo espagueti puré de papa y un pastel, todo digno de una cena navideña.
Another get-together we had was at the hospital where I work, and even though it was a busy night, we had time for dinner and a small gift exchange, since we had agreed to bring something for dinner, something different from what they serve us in the dining room, to feel the festive spirit, I prepared my meat roll, there was spaghetti, mashed potatoes and a cake, all worthy of a Christmas dinner.
Realizamos un pequeño intercambio de regalos, el cual consistía en una taza con chocolates, no tengo foto de cuando me la dieron pero si le tome foto a la tasa, que me encantó, y los chocolates eran bastantes, así que los compartí en la casa, solo me comí la paleta payaso yo sola por que es de mis favoritas.
We did a little gift exchange, which consisted of a cup with chocolates, I don't have a picture of when I got it but I did take a picture of the cup, which I loved, and the chocolates were quite a lot, so I shared them in the house, I only ate the clown lollipop by myself because it is one of my favorites.
