Cultural tourism with the Ayutthaya River Cruise at the international pier ๐๐ค๐

Hello everyone! ๐ธ
This post is about an annual festival of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailandโจ
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya is not very far from Bangkok โ it takes only about 1.5 to 2 hours to get here ๐โฐ. For me, Ayutthaya is especially famous for its rich history and many ancient ruins ๐๐, which attract both Thai and international tourists ๐.
On Saturdays and Sundays, this place becomes particularly lively and bustling ๐งโ๐คโ๐ง๐
โAyutthaya River Cruise: International Port Cityโ

For this trip, I had the chance to visit here last Saturday ๐ค๏ธโจ
- The event is called โAyutthaya River Cruise: International Port Cityโ ๐ค๐๏ธ, and it is held only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays ๐ ๐.
The festival will continue until February 1, 2026, which is the last day of the event โณ๐. I highly recommend coming here before sunset ๐ ๐ธ โ you will get beautiful photos and definitely enjoy Thai culture to the fullest ๐น๐ญ๐ญ๐ When you arrive at the event, the first thing you need to do is buy an entrance ticket ๐๏ธโจThe ticket prices vary depending on the type ๐ฐ๐

At the first stop after entering, you will find local community products for sale ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ
There is also a traditional Thai therapy for relieving body aches called Tok Sen massage ๐ชต๐โโ๏ธ โ an ancient Thai healing method ๐น๐ญโจ. It looks very interesting and fascinating ๐๐ฟ

After that, I walked around the area of Wat Chaiwatthanaram ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐๏ธโจ I forgot to tell you that this event is held at Wat Chaiwatthanaram ๐๐ โ normally, if there is no event, the temple is open to visitors only in the morning ๐ โฐ
It looks incredibly beautiful when you walk inside โจ๐๏ธThere are many interesting spots and beautiful photo locations ๐ธ๐ฟ to capture as precious memories ๐.This event is held only once a year ๐ ๐, and I personally think it becomes even more beautiful at night ๐โจ, because the decorative lights are bright, colorful, and truly stunning ๐ก๐๐

Besides enjoying a leisurely walk and taking photos of the ancient ruins and the surrounding atmosphere ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ธ๐๏ธโจ, there is also another large zone just as impressive โ the food zone ๐ฝ๏ธ๐.About 90% of the food is Thai cuisine ๐น๐ญ๐, with both Islamic (halal) food ๐๐ฅ and general Thai dishes available ๐๐ข. What is especially interesting is that you will find many traditional Thai desserts and ancient-style Thai foods ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฅฎ, and the prices are very affordable ๐ฐ๐

After enjoying buying food and feeling full, I was ready to walk around and take more photos of the atmosphere to share with my friends ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ธโจ
At this event, you can see that many people are very interested in wearing traditional Thai costumes ๐๐น๐ญ while visiting the ancient ruins ๐, and taking lots of beautiful photos together ๐ท๐.
I think this is truly one of the most colorful and charming highlights of the event ๐จ๐. If anyone is interested, there are traditional Thai costume rental shops at the venue ๐ช๐, where you can choose outfits at very affordable prices ๐ฐ๐

- Another very interesting highlight is that on every event day, there is a show featuring traditional Thai ancient arts ๐ญ๐น๐ญโจ
On this day, the performance was Lam Tad music ๐ถ๐ช โ a type of traditional folk song from central Thailand ๐พ๐ค. It is a performance with male and female singers exchanging witty verses and conversations ๐จโ๐ค๐ฉโ๐ค๐ฌ, which is very rare to see nowadays โณ๐ฒ. And this is another wonderful day of my trip in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province ๐๐๐
