The First Electrocution I Got

Thanks once again and am glad to have you once again and to share my experience with you...

This is an experience that I will surely tell you that I will never forget in my life, the reason is because it is too expensive to have tried such, well as the case may be it was the first and the last I got electrocuted that nearly claimed my life.

It happen to be at my childhood within the age of 7-8 years, then I do see one electric engineer that normally come to check repair our light once it develop fault at home, then as a little boy growing up with love and passion for the work that the electrical engineer was doing made me to always leave whatever am doing to stay with engineer then, watching what he was actually doing.

Now I remember that it didn't come to the attention of my parents to chase me off from where the electoral engineer was doing the work, because children are always moved with what they see, this didn't just happened a time, but he comes frequently to repair our light once there is fault in our light with my Dad paying him off after work till..

One faithful day, no... I won't say that day was a fateful day because, rather it was a remarkable day, with terrible lesson in my life, the worst part of it was that my Dad and my Mum where all not around that day, I wa just left alone with my junior brother when that evil spirit flew inside me to go and try what that electricians normally do.

So I went to where our parkings store is, where we dump some unused property both with electrical appliances, there was where I found necked wires, within me I didn't know that wire have to be coated, my thinking was wire is wire, so I went on to collect some pieces of naked wire that is golden in color that look like wire from generator coil, with a bulb.

I jumped out rejoicing to make my own connection without knowing that it is the day that I will be taught a lesson of my life, so I went on to tire this necked wire around the bulb. Then, there was one socket outside me and my brother's room, of which the devil had planned it without anyone's notice. There was a full current of light without no one around me even my junior brother, so I went ahead to plug the wire inside the socket and it shocked me a little.

I taught It was nothing without knowing it was a shock so I went on to plug the both wires at once, Boom... My whole body was vibrating till I shouted Mummy... Mummy.. as i can remember. With a loud voice, then was when I saw myself near one wooden bench in the same passage crying, it surprised me how i got there after I shouted with a loud voice. Then next thing I did was to ran out to our gate crying, even my little brother joined me in the crying for help in front of our gate.

It wasn't quite long I received that electric shock, my dad and mum came back and where asking us why are we crying, them I opened up to tell my mum and showed her the wire I connected, my Mum shouted and called my Dad attention and he came and removed the wired after offing the switch and my Dad warned me and my brother seriously not to try such again my life, even without anyone telling me then, I learnt my lesson that day not to near or to try such in my life gain, up till today I don't play with electricity.
