Okay,
One of the things I enjoy so much is listening to FM, even when people term it an 'oldie' act. I love it so much because it gives me the pleasure of listening to random songs, especially the ones I don't feel like having on my phone, even though I love them so much, and, above all, throwback songs. That's why I don't joke with radio stations on Thursday to enjoy the Throwback Thursday songs.

Yesterday was a Thursday, and as usual, I had my radio tuned on and connected to my airpod. To be sincere, I enjoyed the flow of old music to the extent that I almost got up to start dancing, but my shy face didn't allow me. I was only stylishly nodding my head and moving my legs while I sang along.
This whole sweet feeling came to a halt when "Feeling It" by Banky W and MI came to play.
My mind travelled back to my teen age when I had a very heartbreaking encounter with this song.

What do I mean?

Oh yeah, way back to my teen years, I had some music TV shows that I didn't joke with. Once it's time, I leave anything I'm doing to enjoy the show.

There was one that occurred in the evening by 5:00 p.m., and I loved this show so much, but it got to a particular stage season, they started putting songs on repeat, and this song, "Feeling It," was at the peak. I got so tired of this song and wished they would remove it, but it never happened.
One day, this programme came again and this same song was on repeat. Although it was tiring, I still stayed watching the video and I didn't know how it happened; our TV just went off and refused to turn on.

"What happened to it?" My dad asked immediately he entered the house and saw me pressing the buttons on the TV.

"I don't know, it just stopped working," I replied, hoping he has a clue to get it back to a functional state.

He came closer, and I excused him; he did all his magic, but no way, the TV refused to come up.

That evening, he took it to repair, and according to him, because he returned that night without the TV, something spoiled inside, and the money to fix it is too much, and he doesn't have such for the moment, meaning we will have to live without TV.

OMG! The words shattered my heart. I felt so heartbroken, more than the heartbreak in relationship. I love those music TV shows so much, and it means I'm going to live without them. And to make it worst, we didn't have the privilege of having a phone at young age.

That was it; we stayed for almost two months before we got our TV back.

Ever since then, this song has given me that 'hatred' memory, and the funny thing is that these two artists are among my favourites in the music industry, and I play their music every day. I don't hate them, I just dislike that particular song 🤣
