Life will bring changes

I have come to understand, just like one of the leaders in my church usually says, that once you need money to do something, money will come out. Whatever you want to do, you will never do it if you are scared or constantly wondering where to start. Just give it a start, and you will see how resources will come.

For a long time, I have been hiding, lacking the boldness to expand in my business and even improve my living lifestyle because it would require a huge sum of money. Not just that, the spending would be on a continuous basis. For example, I needed to rent a bigger place for my work and stop using the very small and hidden space I had been using, all because of fear and the need to cope with rent.

But then a situation happened. A quit notice was suddenly served to every occupant of the block. There was fear about how to cope, especially with sorting myself out in the midst of high rent fees for bigger (normal) shops, coupled with the need to move to a better living space (home). The second battle was locating a better place for business because, in my city, it is not just about having the money. Stores are very scarce, and one can have all the money in the world and still not find a vacant shop to rent in a good location. I had sleepless nights over this situation.

But guess what?

When the time came, I saw everything fall into place smoothly, especially when it came to sourcing the money needed for both the shop and my living space. I kept asking myself, where did this money come from? Although I touched money I had kept aside for something else, even at that, I never knew I could migrate my life with such ease. I thought it was going to be terribly hard, much harder than I had ever imagined.

This experience changed my mentality. We can actually conquer anything when we take the step forward instead of settling in fear over how to start the journey or task. Also, we can live better lives if we take the bull by the horn when the opportunity to make a change comes. Once the change is made and settled, there is no going back because the provision to sustain the change we embraced will always be there. Yes, we will always be limited when we keep settling for less. When challenges come, they are opportunities to upgrade.
