Life is funny, don't you think so?
Life—I mean our existence on this planet—when we think of how it is designed, is very funny. Don’t you think so?
Every day, we wake up to face challenges or go through the same routine of hardship and, in the end, death settles it all. Most times, some people die at a young age while others live very long. Sometimes also, those who died at a young age are oftentimes said to have fulfilled their purpose on earth, while those who live longer are still chasing their purpose. Isn’t that funny?
Oftentimes, we engage in battles and wars, fighting enemies, and in the process, someone is taken down by the enemy’s bullet. What is the essence of the fight? To preserve the future? Is the fighter destined to fight on earth and die for others? What’s the essence of living and dying for others?
What’s the essence of passing through all these life difficulties if, at the end, it’s just to eat, raise a family, and die—causing the same family to feel the pain of our death? Why can’t we just come into this world, do nothing, and leave the earth since we are destined to die one day?
I think of these things sometimes, and I shake my head and swallow my thoughts when I realize that no one—except the Creator—has the answers to some of life’s basic mysteries.
The way the world is and how it has always been, everyone is all about living according to how the world is shaping itself. And of course, we are part of the world and its culture. Humans are born and are meant to chase their goals until they are ready to leave the world, and no one can subtract himself from that.
The culture is to live, earn, follow some principles applicable to their part of the world, and wait for old age and death to come.
No lies, I’m living by the same principle—living and pursuing my goals, which boil down to earning, sustaining myself, having a family, taking care of loved ones, and doing all these in ways that do not hurt other humans—while I look forward to the days I will feel fulfilled that I have done this and that.
Life is already designed that way—that a human must eat, and before one can eat, he must work, except for those born with a silver spoon. Life, especially in my part of the world, is designed in a way that if you don’t work, you won’t eat. If you don’t work, there’s no way one can hit set goals, except the goal is to live a useless life on earth.
So, that’s why I get up every day. That’s why I have some sleepless nights trying to put things in order for them to align and be productive, hence making it easier to get closer to hitting all my set goals.
It’s so funny how life can be unfair to some people—that even in all these efforts, life still plays a blind eye to the person. And the worst part is when the person’s life is cut short in the process. And the most funny thing is that people will come and say that such a person has fulfilled his purpose on earth, because maybe that’s how their creator wanted them to live and die. Haaaaa! Life is funny, asweeeaar!

Life really is full of questions we may never find answers to. Yet, we keep pushing, because somehow, even in the mystery, there’s meaning in the hustle.
The answers to these questions ehhh, Omo!
This is very true. We find happiness to ignite us to keep living...no one wants to die even though life is hard
Totally agree! Life's full of paradoxes and mysteries. Yet we keep pushing forward, finding meaning in the journey. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
That's it. The mysteries are there, many unanswered questions but keep pushing regardless.

We all have our different beliefs! Life is full of unanswered questions, and sometimes it feels like we are going in circles 🔵
One thing I'm sure of is that we all have a purpose, and while working, make sure to be happy. We don't have to acquire all the wealth to live a happy life. Some people have it easy while others have to work very hard to eat their daily bread.
That's just life!
Yeahhh!
We can't take away finding happiness from life journey. This is why people opt of the big things to do the mere things that give them satisfaction. I understand that.
Life is Is just too mysterious!
You are right. There's joy and happiness in little things ✨️
When we think about this circle of life, we get tired. But God knows the best
The fact remains, survival is the ultimate mission of every human, it comes first before anything else. There are questions we don't have answers to because such questions aren't meant to be answered, the universe itself is full of mysteries.
