Let's tour the world

Greetings everyone.

This got me thinking: A world without borders. A world with no security issues. Many crazy thoughts filled my head when I gave it a shot.

Currently, my country is not a livable place due to the high cost of living. Before, it was insecurity, but now, even though insecurity still affects us greatly, a greater issue, a fiery economy, has emerged and is impacting us massively. This is why everyone, I mean absolutely everyone, wants to leave this nation for a country where things are more manageable. Oh yes, everyone wants to leave, but there's a big restriction: the high cost of migrating to other nations, which is a result of many standards at the borders. I remember during the just-concluded AFCON 2023 held in Cote d'Ivoire, I knew friends who traveled there to watch matches and they spent a whole lot of money. That's a country that we can by motor walk into, how much more traveling to developed countries like the USA, England, and others?

Also, one of the biggest problems ravaging our lives as world is the problem of insecurity. It's growing every day to the extent that even within some villages, people find it hard to walk into their farms where they produce their food due to kidnapping and killing. Even the developed world, which appears to have somewhat low levels of insecurity, still suffers from this.

Imagining our world without these two subjects — borders and insecurity, I would be a full-time traveler. Traveling would be among my hobbies even though I experience nausea in transit often. But this would be possible if the money to do all these is available because even if there are no borders, those distances are large and would take a good amount of money to fly over.

Come to think of it, there are some countries that have little bushes covering their borders, and these roads are often hijacked by kidnappers, which makes people prefer flights to using the roads. A world where things like that do not exist means people will trek into another nation without hitches.

I would go and live in one of those freezing countries that have snow as sand. My body system has never been a fan of the type of weather we have here. I love it where everywhere is cold; it gives a cool, calm, and rich skin. I would visit nice places and capture all the moments with my phone and wouldn't be like some people that don't like photos. Lol😅

A world like this would bring diversity as people have freedom of movement, which would boost the economy of a nation. I'm not an economist, but I know that one of the sources of the current hardship we're facing in my nation is restriction on come certain trades, which prevent some commodities from being imported into the nation, all in the name of "we have people producing it here." This has allowed the owners of those companies to have a say and drive up the prices of these essential commodities, and no one is saying anything. An example is cement. If borders were opened and cement were allowed to be imported, these people would lower their prices.

Is it possible to have a world like this?

The answer is NO! Insecurity has been in existence since the days men were born, and it has grown very wild that it can't be wiped off. With the rate of insecurity, if borders were opened to let everyone in and out of the country without checks, the world would explode.
