I love this lifestyle

Unapologetically, I'm an introvert and I love it!

My introvert lifestyle started the day I was born, and I noticed it when I became sensible as a child. It’s a lifestyle I once didn’t like because I felt segregated from people who are lively. You know that kind of situation where one feels totally different in the midst of the opposite kind of people? Yeah, that was exactly the situation. But I have come to love the lifestyle because it brings me a lot of peace and freedom.

The introverted life is such that troubles in one’s life are very limited because, most times, the troubles we face are a result of our lifestyle and relationships with people. I do relate with people, but due to my low level of socializing and not being overly social, I get to stay off unnecessary potential problems.

Many times, I’ve been criticized for being too quiet, and I used to frown a lot whenever I heard such criticism. For God’s sake, my temperament is quietness, and I don’t see any reason why I should force myself out of the lifestyle. It’s a natural way of life—I didn’t create myself—and forcing myself to be who I’m not is not something I’m fond of doing.

Let’s get it clear: we all have our different characteristics, and it’s always preached that one should be oneself and not live to please others. I’m an introvert by nature, and trying to be an extrovert is simply trying to live to please others. Or are we not encouraged to be ourselves? 😏

As I said earlier, I didn’t like the lifestyle before, but now I’ve come to love it, accept it, and live with it. I can boldly say that it’s a sweet lifestyle. I love it just the way you love the traits in you. Yes, you—the one reading this.

The only hindrance it tries to pose sometimes is staying connected with people, especially when business and money are involved. I know there are people who are not actually doing business with me due to how reserved I am. It sucks, but it’s fine too. Meanwhile, I’ve had a lot of people connect with me for business because of how reserved I appear—and they trust deeply in my sense of care. I had an experience of this nature today, and I smiled and gave kudos to my personality.

I love this lifestyle!

Thanks for reading.
