I googled Google
Greetings everyone!
I'm someone who dislikes stress a lot. I run to Google without a second thought anytime I want to get something done and it's a bit confusing. I do not wait to rack my brain and get stranded before going to look for help. Why should I be stressing myself in the digital space when life is already hard? Why should I be stressing myself when there are already-made platforms to get help with just a click?
My most recent Google search was a search on Google. Yes, you read it right—I googled Google.
I knew there was a feature on the Google platform where simple surveys could be conducted and results collated via the Google site without me owning a website to share the survey form with the people I want to collect their responses from.
In case you do not understand, let me explain.
Normally, for one to conduct a survey online to collect data from different people, one would originally need to own a website designed for that purpose. But Google platforms provide a way to do that without the person owning a website.
So, I knew something like that existed, but I could not figure out how to bring it to pass—creating my own questions and having a channel to collate the data.
That was what I googled, and I was directed on how to go about it. Since I already had an idea, I did not see the need to use YouTube search. The written descriptions were okay for me. Also, I was directed to the portal to create my own survey and got a link to collect responses from people.
I made the search two days ago when I wanted to collate the birthday details of my group in church. Most of them are not digitally inclined, and presenting a website link, as simple as it may look, would surely give them reasons to think I want to scam them. This is why I preferred the Google way. I made the questions just three and also ensured that they would not need to link their Google account to be able to answer the questions, because linking their Google account would surely make them think I want to have access to their bank accounts and scam them. Lol.
If you know the kind of survey I am talking about—you, the one reading this—you will understand better how it works, because there is actually no way to scam someone unless such questions were asked in the survey.
It was a success. Many of them responded that same day—up to 18 responses—and I am still waiting for others, even though I know that the ones left to click the link are those scared of being scammed. And I emphasized to them that they have nothing to worry about.
Thanks for reading.

So there's a way to collate data from a survey without an actual website. This is nice and I've learnt something from this post.
Well done 👍
So you don't know?
Anyways, it's only WhatsApp, tiktok and It that you know. Lol😂
