Hive 2024 Goals

Greetings everyone!

Since the new year began, I haven't had the chance to reflect on my set goals of 2023. Upon seeing this prompt, I went back to have a look, and it was all smiles at the big achievement I was able to pull up last year.

This year, I'm starting on a good note and setting bigger goals because *life is supposed to be forward and not backward.

My Hive goals for 2024 are as follows;

To attain 3,700 Hive Power

This is a big one to work with, but I'm strongly determined to smash this goal. Currently, I have 1,700 HP, and I aim to battle for 2,000 HP throughout this year.

Here is a breakdown on a monthly and weekly basis:

• Earn 166 HP on a monthly basis

• Earn 41 HP on a weekly basis

• Daily Earning: This is not guaranteed because it all depends on the favor for the day.

Again, it's a big task because comparing it with my current earning status, I'm far behind. This means I need to step up my game with the necessary tasks that are stated.

Reputation 72

I remember setting a goal to reach reputation 68 from 60 last year, and I smashed it. This year, I'm setting the same goal with the same measured pace. Currently, I'm at reputation 68, and I know that at this stage, the growth crawls. So, I would be so happy to add four numbers to my reputation, making it 72. This is going to be tough; however, let me see what I can push.

Increase the volume and stakings of my second-layer tokens

It was last year I saw the importance of having these second-layer tokens and staking the ones that warrant staking. This year, I'm going to push to have many of these tokens and stake them to give me more earnings and also more power to control the votes. Among these tokens are Leotoken, neoxian, alive, and others.

Ways to achieve these goals

• Daily publishing:

I haven't had the issue of not being able to write in a day due to writer's block; the only times I was not able to write were due to a very tight schedule.
This time around, I'm going to follow up the streak, at least one good quality post per day in different communities. I'm going to explore different communities and gain recognition with my consistent publishing.

• Engagement:

I've been lazy on the aspect of engagement; in fact, this is has been my biggest challenge in this Hive Blockchain.
This time around, I've fastened up already and am ready to be seen everywhere with my comments and contributions to things happening in the Blockchain.
I'm not going to settle on the Blockchain alone; no, I'm going to extend into Discord channels and get involved in games and discussions in the various channels. I'll be active on X and also on Leothreads.

The few times I settled down to engage last year, I saw how it pushed me up, so I'm not going to give room for a setback this year.

Possible challenges

In the presence of good health and good happenings all through the year, the only thing I know that would pose a problem to me is a lack of electricity and my tight work schedule.

• For electricity:

I have two power banks, 20,000mAh and 30,000mAh, to power me when there's no light. So I wouldn't have much of a problem with this, except I don't see where to charge them often because of the epileptic power supply here.

• For a tight work schedule:

This is where I can't help myself sometimes because I work to please customers. But nevertheless, I'm my own boss and I should implement ways to have my "me" time.
