Chelsea's rampant signing and Olympic

Greetings!

Before I go ahead with Chelsea's talk, let's say a little about my Olympic experience...

Before the kickoff of the summer Olympics taking place currently in Paris, France, I was very stirred to follow up on every event, especially on football just the way I did in the previous one, Tokyo 2020 but unfortunately, I wasn't opportune the way I was last tournament and also, I lost interest quickly when my most supported team, the super falcons of Nigeria got knocked out in the group stage of football.
During the Tokyo 2020 tournament, I was in a place where I had the opportunity to be with TV all through the day till 9:00 pm and there was light, so I didn't miss most of the fun but this time around, my schedule didn't allow me such opportunity coupled with the fact that there was no electricity too.
Just like I mentioned in a post I wrote before the Olympics, my nation was drafted into a group of death in football containing, Brazil, Japan and Spain. Before the games, we knew it was going to be hell impossible to escape the group and it came out just as we thought. We played all the games and didn't win anyone and we only scored one goal in the three games. The first two games were very tough playing Brazil and Spain which they managed to win us with 1 goal each.
The game which we needed to revive our hope of getting out of the shame came out more shocking as Japan beat us 3:1. That was the biggest defeat in the game.

After the group stage, I didn't feel the urge to walk out to watch as I was practically sacrificing my time to go out to watch the match, so I was following up on the details on the phone.

Did you see the Canadian women?

I must give kudos to the Canadian women because they shockingly surprised everyone.
Before the match began, they were caught using a drone to spy on the training of their opponent to learn their patterns and the organisers decided to punish them. Their coach was suspended and 6 points were deducted from their rank. This deduction happened before the kick-off, so they were down with 6 points and the only way they could qualify from the group was to win all the games to get 3 points otherwise, nothing for them. This was an impossible task because the teams in their group weren't going to sit and watch them do that but they did that, they played and won all their matches and they qualified for the group. Much applause to them!

What's happening to Chelsea and their rampant signing?

I haven't been paying attention to most of the Premier League clubs and their signing until four days ago when I started seeing memes about Chelsea's rampant signing. It's been a trend that Chelsea FC have signed up to a total number of people in a community and I wonder how the coach is going to battle with player selection when the season kicks in.
I remember last season how they signed a lot and spent huge sums of money in the transfer but ended up giving us the best of laughs.
Well, well, I'm open for more laughs this season.

Thank you for reading.
