Cans of it | Beer

It's been a very long while since I had beer until today, 14th November 2024. Actually, I don't casually go for it; I usually have it whenever I'm opportune to, especially in parties and outings, and today was one of such occasions. We went out for a naming ceremony, a typical church event, and I got there late because I had difficulties identifying the venue. After the usual church ceremonies and the clergies had left, the owner of the house, who is the father of the newborn baby, said we should stay put because he had other plans for us. I wanted to leave as well, but because I got there late, I found it odd to just leave. So I stayed put, and before I knew it, the man rolled out cans of beer consisting of Heineken and others. Yoh! I picked one immediately, opened it, and took a gulp, and the people who hadn't seen me taking beer were surprised to see me gulping beer. They're church people. Lol

I took two can bottles of the Heineken, and there were more, but I needed to control myself because I haven't experienced drunkenness before. I didn't want to experience it at all; I'm always scared of the way it takes full control of someone when they take it in excess or in a manner that the body will react heavily to it.

Everyone that’s into beer had enough of it, both the guys and the ladies. Some even took some bottles home to chill later in the day in their houses.

It was a good outing. I had beer!
