Away from the world

Greetings everyone!

"If I wake up and find myself in the woods without a phone or any form of technology, just me and a quiet wooden house in the woods—what would I do?"

Mehn, it took me minutes of thinking to settle down and write this into a lengthy article because all that was in my mind was to just scream for help and keep running, hoping to find a road that leads to a town or someone I could meet. I just can't imagine myself pretending to be okay in the woods without anything at all—not even a watch to check the time or a phone to make a call or possibly check the internet to see if rapture has happened.

Okay, I woke up at 1:00 a.m.:
For sure, opening my eyes to an entirely different place would feel like a dream, especially when the environment appears like those I've seen countless times in the movies. It'll definitely feel like a dream to me. But one thing is certain—if I reach out for my phone, which is always close by, and can't find it, reality will dawn on me. I would not wait for morning to come before realizing that I'm on a completely different planet. Lol.

Inside the house, I would definitely make an effort to search for any device that could help me understand my location—whether rapture has occurred and I'm already in my heavenly quarter, or if I’m still on my way heading to hell, which seems more mysterious than heaven, as we've heard preachers preach.

But since it's dark and I wouldn’t dare run out due to fear of being devoured by bears, I would wait for daybreak. I must confess, staying awake and waiting for daylight without knowing what's happening—or at the very least, knowing the time—would be extremely difficult for me because there's no way I would be able to sleep again. I remember a certain time I forgot to collect my phone from a charging center. Mehn, that night felt like an endless one to me.

Daybreak:
There's no two ways about it.
I would just start walking away from the house in a bid to seek answers about my location and understand what's happening. Once the sun is up, I would try using the olden days' method of identifying the time of day—by drawing a circle on the ground, placing a stick in the center, and observing the shadow’s direction to tell the time. I’m not sure if this still works though, because it’s been a very long time since I last tried it.

Well, the ideal thing would be to reach out to someone or find a road leading to the city. And yes, I believe I can actually achieve that with or without a compass or any digital device.
