CHADWICK BOSEMAN – A TRIBUTE IN ART
This artwork is one of my most emotional and meaningful creations. I drew it in 2023, after the passing of Chadwick Boseman in 2020, the man we all loved as Black Panther. His death shocked the world, and it also touched me deeply.
When I heard the news of his passing, I felt a mix of sadness and admiration. Sadness because we lost a great actor and a great man, but admiration because he fought his battles silently and still gave the world his best. I wanted to honor him in the best way I could through my art.
I used pencil on eggshell texture, which gave the portrait a unique look and smooth finish. The size is 12 by 16 inches. Every detail took time the eyes, the beard, the calm expression. While drawing, I kept thinking about his courage and how he stayed strong even when nobody knew what he was going through.
This portrait is more than art for me. It is a reminder that life is short, but we can make an impact with the time we have. Chadwick Boseman did that. “Wakanda Forever
