A New Beginning

There are so many words, or what I can call concepts, that have become part of human existence over the years. And these words have been used to signify an event. When you hear the word new beginning, what comes to mind? To some, it's just an ordinary word, but to others, it means more than just words. Here I will be discussing the subject matter "A New Beginning."

A new beginning to me simply means to start fresh. This means that one was on a journey but discovers that he was going in the wrong direction and has to trace back his journey to where he missed it and start the journey again. I can say that a new beginning means a change in direction. Being on the wrong path cannot get you to your destination.
A new beginning is needed in all spheres of our lives when we are going in the wrong direction. What makes us stuck on a journey that we know is not going to end with our expectations is the fear of being seen as failures. The fear of failure has made a lot of us end up at places we know are not right for us, but we are stuck there.

We need to check our lifestyle and see if we need a new beginning. The way I am living life today is right? Or I am afraid of what people will say? Even if you have gone far in the journey, don't be afraid of a fresh start. It is better to remedy the situation now than live a life of regret.

Some of us are in relationships that we know are toxic and are not going to end well, but we tend to continue in them just because we are afraid of being seen as failures. I remember a friend telling me how he has been in three relationships and they have all been failures, and the fourth one is also failure, and he has tried to make it work but it is not working. He is afraid of a new relationship simply because he doesn't want to be seen as a failure. I asked him, which is better, a failed relationship or marriage?

It doesn't matter if you have been doing a business for years and it is the wrong business and is failing; don't be scared of what people will say; stop and have a new beginning. I have a friend who has tried so many businesses and has failed in them. But he didn't have a fresh start. Now he has one of the best logistics companies in town. I have learned so much from us willing to try again, not minding what people will say. He will always remind me that he was seen as a failure, but now he is being celebrated and regarded as a role model.

Life is a journey that should not be embarked on the wrong path. Look at the path you are going on; if you know the end of it will end in regret, you have to pause and look for where you missed it and have a fresh start. A new beginning is not failure but simply refocusing for a better result.
