THE SOCIAL MEDIA INNOVATION
Social media started as a means to communicate with family and friends, but today it has become a means of income that has brought about the innovation of web 3 technology. Today we can say we have not even seen the least of what one can achieve with social media. I remember when social media started with facebook back in the days, there were a lot of competitors. Facebook wasn’t even the first social media application, there were a lot of trials and errors, but today We have only a handful of those social media apps that are still striving.
I remember then there were different social media ideas that were even better than Facebook. 2go for example was one such idea that made a lot of sense even more than Facebook did at that time, but today it's unheard of by those who were not born before that era. But then again in spite of the competitions here and there, facebook has transformed into meta and now meta has taken over a huge portion of the social media space.
I remember the time when facebook was known for its loading speed. It was so annoying that sometimes if the network was bad it might take the whole day to load. I remember the different interfaces of facebook and how ads started. Then it was hard, now it is a piece of cake and the thing everyone is talking about is now Automated ads and marketing. It’s an everyday learning process, and an enjoyable one at that. I usually enjoy watching Mark Zukaberge speak about his success journey which seems like just yesterday but it has actually been a 21 years journey filled with lots of stories. What started as an application for family and friends is now an application for content creators and has made a lot of social media managers.

Reading this just reminded me of those days when you have to raise your phone sometimes in an attempt to load Ur Facebook, sometimes it works like magic and other times it won't, lol. We have really come a long way.
The social media is indeed a great invention! I can’t even begin to mention the so many advantages I have enjoyed thanks to this invention.

It's a good thing that tecnological inventions have come to stay , and yes social media helps alot in reaching out to many people from long distance.
Social media is one of the best inventions, it keeps us informed, entertained and also very educative.

I miss 2go, those days I 2goed for Africa and I was always winning rounds of questions inside one of the rooms. Time have come and gone and things have changed and will keep changing as innovations happen.
Yeah right, Alot of people that were not in that 2go age would not understand the joy. I had issues with my parents because of that app.
