THE DEVELOPMENT OF FAKE LIFE

avatar

Fake living did not start yesterday, the need to belong and feel heard is the reason why people live fake lives. Today I was scrolling through reels and I saw a video where a man said that one of the ways you know you have trained your child right is that they never seek to be famous or become celebs. According to him 98% of those who wish to be famous seek external validation while a lot of those who are actually famous never really imagined it but just worked hard doing their own thing and such people do not even try to keep that status of fame because what got them to where they were was that somehow their uniqueness could not just hide under the cotton and whatever made them famous was something they just do effortlessly.

For example the two renowned footballers Ronaldo and Messi achieved fame not just because of talent, but because of a good amount of hard work. Hard Work was something that was already used to these guys, they don’t find it strenuous because it’s what they love doing. You will never hear controversies about that aspect of their lives because it’s just what they do. This is why I have seen that people think everyday about the next content to make them go viral. I’ve been so broke to the point that I once thought people would have mercy on me and give me money if I begged for it on social media. But then I saw that life isn’t like that, and I will need to do a lot to make ends meet instead of relying on people.

Today people have seen that it is easy to gain sympathy on social media, with the right words and contest, you can easily appeal to people's emotions even though I’m not among such people. I’m not saying I don’t have or show compassion, I’m only saying I’m more moved by the things I know that are true, than the things I just see. I’ve lived long enough not to believe everything I see. I feel the need to want to be heard so people can show pity on you is a sign of wanting external validations which by the way will never be enough. Now imagine someone caught in a scandal making an apology. If you are making the apology because you did wrong to a person and there is no way to reach the person it's okay.

If you are apologising because your actions hurt people you didn’t mean to hurt it’s okay, but if you are apologizing for fighting and being filmed showing your true character why make it worse by apologizing. Truth is those fans don’t care. A Lot of the people that will backlash you only saw an opportunity to use the scandal to get views so instead of seeking validation, I would suggest fixing up yourself and doing what you do. It takes a strong mind to do such a thing though, and the truth is, a lot of people weren’t brought up that way.

I totally agree with you, fame should not be seek for but let it just happen because of hard work, what people do online these days is terrible and we ought to just live careful.
