NEITHER FOUND OR MADE
Happiness is free. It is not hidden, it is never lost, it is always there. But sometimes we focus on other things, choosing not to be happy. For some, they allow others to detect their happiness, while some have an imaginary illusion of happiness and when they can’t reach it they fall into depression. I remember when I fell into depression sometime in June and wanted to commit suicide. I felt my life was over and thus it was impossible to be happy because of the huge debts on my neck. But when I was out, I discovered that the debt wasn’t the issue, I made the debt an issue.

The debt hasn’t fully gone, but I am happy and at peace with the fact that I am trying my best. Happiness is always within us, it is never in the places we want it to be. When you focus on the shadows you will never see the sun, when you focus on the big things, you will never see the little things, and when you focus on the little things, you will never see the big things. Happiness is neither the little thing or the big thing, it is what you decide it should be. This is why I decided to stop allowing others to be the source of my joy.

When others become the source of your joy, you become a puppet. And sometimes we can’t help it especially when people make us happy continually and when they stop we discover that we have become dependent on them for our happiness and that’s when we begin to hurt. This is why lately when I discover I am being frustrated and sad, I try to think about the reason I am letting whatever it is get to me, and when I find out why, I make it less important and focus on my joy. Actually when you think about it, you are hay when you stop worrying about things you can’t control.

Good thing you are able to think the right way rather than committing suicide
