IT REALLY HAPPENED
There was a period in my school year I can never forget. To date my parents still consider it a mystery or should I say a miracle how I suddenly stopped falling sick. Although I am not SS, I had always battled a particular blood infection that usually made me look sickly. It was very profound when I was little but as I grew up my parents were able to manage the situation so long I took my meds every three months. When I entered the higher institution, one of the things I decided I was going to change was my sickly nature. As a christian I believe in miracles and I believed that I could be healed.

In the process of acting out my faith, I decided to stop taking my meds and when it was two months overdue I became so sick that my school had to call my parents because I never really informed them of the condition since I had been managing it just fine. My mum had to come to my school in a hurry which was two states from home and by that time three hospitals had already rejected me because they could not understand the situation. On reaching the fourth hospital, my mum came, met the doctor and explained my condition to him and that was when I was giving the appropriate medication. After that I was warned never to try that again as it caused a scare in my school and even my house.
All these happened in my first year, and in my second year when I left the school hostel I decided I was going to do it again LOL. This time I had my house to myself and if I was going to die, then let me die in my house. Again when I was barely two months overdue I fell very sick again but this time no one knew about it. I lay on my bed that day, and it felt as though I was going to die. With the rain outside falling heavily I just heard a voice in my heart that said stand up and go to church. It was very heavy in my heart and I tried to muster up the strength to go. My church wasn’t far from my house, but by the time I entered the rain in pain and got to church it was all over. I have not taken my meds since then and I have not fallen sick like that again…
THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO HIVE STUDENT WEEK 30 PROMPT

Wow! @kilvnrex this is big!
Sometimes, our miracle is just there waiting for us to trust that it will come. It must really be hard to believe, but I'm glad it really happened.
Yes I am glad too. Sometimes all we need is an act of faith

Thank God for that healing.
But that your act of faith was deeply strong 😅
This is really the kind of story that captures how miracles work. It can't be explained by logic, but the impact and the way in which it happens leaves you with the conviction that miracles do happen.
I'm happy to hear you've overcome that medical condition. I wish you continued great health now and in the future.
Thank you... I am just happy to have been favoured in a time of need
Thank God for the spirit that asked you to go to church. Thanks for sharing.
