ENDURED BUT NEVER LOVED

I'm very lazy at communication, and I think that is why I love to narrow down the number of people I am free to talk with. This is another reason why you would hardly find me trying to woo a girl because I feel I wouldn't have time to keep up. If you ever find me chatting endlessly with someone regularly, just know I've newly fallen in love and it will wear out in time. Not because I want it to, but because communication for me is almost sacred. I can't just sit around and talk with people to pass time, there must be a purpose to it so that I can easily leave after the purpose is achieved. So if I am communicating with you via text and call, it's because I have an intent and I don't plan on going beyond that as it can be very stressful for me.

I'm an introvert in and out, it's weird that I find it easier to talk or chat with a group of people than with a single person as I'm not good at starting or ending conversations. What I'm good at is keeping a conversation going, raising up its intensity and using conversations as a medium to share important thoughts. A lot of people like to make rules for chatting with them which I don't really mind. I wouldn't say I have rules because there are a lot of things I just endure in conversations and would only let you know I don't appreciate them if you are not close to me. I keep these things not because I like them, but because I want whoever I'm communicating with to feel welcomed in my DM. But then again, there are things I would appreciate more.

One of the major things I do not appreciate in texting is a conversation stopper. This is the major reason I find it hard to continue a physical conversation because I end up stopping it when we're just talking randomly. I don't do this intentionally, but most times I think too much and just go blank. And when I go blank like that it's because I'm thinking of not saying the wrong things. In texting words like; “okay” for almost everything is a conversation stopper and would often relate to me as you're not interested in the conversation. Although I have come to understand that some people can not help it, I will appreciate it more if they just try to continue a conversation without making it look weird. I usually use the phrase “issorite” when chatting so I do not look too formal with an “okay” when I have nothing to say.

Another thing I don't appreciate is when a person says “you're welcome” after they ask me “how are you” and I say “fine thank you”. I don't know why a lot of people tend to welcome me when I am just being polite, I mean I just find it weird 😂. One thing I appreciate when texting is openness. I love it when I can literally feel the conversation and not make it look like you want it to end. I even prefer we don't end and continue the next day keeping the energy going. But this part is only reserved for a special group of people. But above all of this, what I don't appreciate is leaving me hanging in a conversation. I try to give excuses for people when they do that and say they probably have something important to do, but then again it just shows how unimportant and a complete waste of my time that was (chatting with them)
