AN ADVICE TO LITTLE KELVIN
Looking back at my life now, there are things I really wished I didn't do growing up, things I wished I was exposed to, directions I never knew I needed, and things I wished I never knew. If there was a way I could go back in time, I would try to correct those mistakes and perhaps my life could have taken a better turn. There were opportunities I wouldn't have missed, and life changing decisions that would have helped become a better adult and perhaps be in a better place than where I am now. I would tackle a lot of the bad habits developed as a child that I find difficult changing as an adult. Perhaps if I had cultivated those good habits as a child I would have turned out better.

The first thing I would do if I could go back in time to talk to my younger self is talking to 10 year old me and making sure to explain why some of my curiosities were going to be doing me bad later in life. I would have tried to deviate the attention of my younger self into developing and enjoying a reading habit and moreso, reading productive things that would drive me to dare more productive things. Perhaps my life would have turned out much better. 10 year old me would have become curious in things other than the explicit movies that almost ruined my teen age. I guess I didn't just have anyone who noticed enough to guide me in the right direction. I was really good at hiding my spots hehe…
Then I would like to talk to my teen self, I would encourage my teen self to try out a lot of scholarships perhaps I would have gotten one overseas. I would have also told my younger self not to go into a lot of the relationships I went into because they weren't necessary. At that point I was surrounded by a lot of negativity, perhaps advising myself on how to deal with those negativities I would have turned out better. Lastly I would have advised my teen self to learn a skill before going into the higher institution. Perhaps I wouldn't have dropped out at the point I did. But then again, it's too late to regret hehe…
