Some Lego Figures I Bought
I picked up 3 Lego figures I saw while out and about a few days ago, but some of them were mismatched and not complete, so that was a bit of a disappointment.
While out and about, I decided to pick up a few more when I saw them. €1 each isn't too bad, especially considering the price that some figures can go for. But, I kind of got duped again.
These 3 jumped out at me because of the accessories, but when I got them home and used Google Lens, I realised that they're not complete either.
Some have different heads, hands, legs, and torsos, so that's a bit of a shame.
Each of these are also mismatched as far as I know.
They do look fairly cool, and I'm not really sure what to do with them. I considered potentially breaking them all down and just selling them as a bundle because people might be looking for specific pieces or something.
Here are the last two I got in this bundle.
I decided to just spend €8 on them, since I bought some stuff anyway brought the price to €12, and figured I would bring it up to an even €20.
My issue is, that I don't really know what I'm looking for when buying, so I think I need to take a bit more time, rather than going in blind.
If they were Star Wars characters, I would have a much better chance of buying complete figures, but some of these random ones that I don't have a clue about would be much harder.
I could just keep going and maybe by random luck I could complete a few figures eventually, but that would be a major hassle, and probably not worth it.
Here are all the accessories matched to particular figures.
One large job lot of stuff might be the best way of doing this, but at that, I would probably just break even.
It's not too bad, and maybe I should just try and pick up more random ones until the time comes that I think I have enough to complete, or sell as an impressive bundle.
I've seen particularly rare, or sought-after figures going for €40+ which, would essentially pay for them all, duds included. Is it worth holding on to hope for something like that to happen? Probably not, so maybe trying to be more conscious in future is my best bet.
If you buy up enough mismatched and incomplete ones, eventually you'll have enough that you can reassemble them as a bunch of complete and correct ones 😁
Hahaha, here's hoping. I'm going to keep at it and see what I can do.

nice, try brickscan app! Nest way to flip them is to buy people collections cheap and sort the figures out and then sell the rest of the lego by the kg
I'll keep an eye out for any lots going in my area, and I'll hopefully be able to pick up some for a good price. I still have a bunch of the Halo stuff, but have someone who's interested in purchasing a bunch of sets in bulk.
Sets are a nightmare! Figures much better try brickscan app on the phone
Thanks so much for the advice, I'll download that today and I'm sure it'll help out a lot.
1$ lego isn't bad of a deal! If I were to find them in the wild, I'd definitely get them.
Too right, I'm going to keep an eye out for more as I'm going around the shops because they're a good little investment. Lego is essentially plastic gold if you get the right pieces.
