I Completed A Few More Figures
About a month ago, I picked up some more weapons and accessories for some of my figures, and I finally got them.
I bought these from some sellers on eBay, I had them sent to a mate's house, who then shipped them over.
All in, they would have cost about €12 to post each and would have cost about €10+ each in import duty; since they all came from different sellers, there was no way around paying that much.
Luckily, though, since I shipped them to a friend, it was free delivery (bar what it cost for him to send them all), and also, there was no import duty added on either, and I never had to pay when they got to me.
They all look fairly snazzy now.
It's nice to see them all looking a bit more complete. At this point, about 25/26 figures are complete or nearly complete, which is very good. Roughly half of my figures have their accessories, and they look much better in my display case as a whole.
These ones here are complete.
Admiral Akbar is looking a bit worn but is mostly okay. The others are in decent shape, bar a minor bit of paint rub.
My main focus is collecting all of them, and then once I have them, I'll start trying to get better condition figures. None currently are too bad, though, so it's no big deal.
These two are both missing their weapons, but I'm happy to have them with their clothing.
I've always liked the use of vinyl and real cloth for some of these figures, and I think it adds to them a lot.
Prune Face is a bit awkward, though, and trying to have his cloak sitting in a good way is kind of tough.
He kind of looks like ET, which could have been a bit of a nod by George Lucas, because I'm not sure if this character was actually in the film.
(I stand corrected)
In the background of the briefing room before every set out for Endor.
Another example of blink and you'll miss them characters that were turned into figures.
