Building An Indiana Jones Set

Today, I was in the mood to build a model, and I decided to go with Darth Vader's ship I got recently. I opened it up, only to find that I would have to paint it first. Since I didn't fancy painting, I went to see if I could build one of my dads sets.

I bought him a couple over the years that haven't been built yet, and as I was about to look at them he pointed to a Lego set he got for Christmas and asked if I'd build it for him.

This set looks really cool.

He told me that he opened up the box around Christmas time when my sister bought him it, but upon seeing all the pieces he just put it away again.

Making it during a bit of a power outage or something was the plan, but today when I was looking at stuff he mentioned it.

I can see what he means.

Dealing with all of the Halo sets, meant this wasn't too much of a daunting task.

At least I know all the pieces are here, and I only need to wade through just one set rather than 10 mixed.

Here we are after bag 1.

I love this about Lego. There are four bags with this set, and each one is used fully before moving on to the next.

Also, each bag has a different fig in it by the look of it, so the start of each is easy enough.

Here it is at the end of bag 2.

Bag 1 covered the base plate essentially.

Bag 2 on the other hand covered the verticality of the set, for the most part.

Here it is after bag 3.

The first thing was first for bag 4. Building the mini figure, which completed the set for this, well set.

Here are the whole crew.

The figs are pretty cool, and Indies accessories are fairly cool.

Here is the set complete.

It's a nice size. Not too big, and not too small.

I love the statues at either size, and this comes with a good few different features.

Among other moving parts, it has this.

The statue being able to fall, which destroys a portion of the wall is a cool design and adds so much playability with this set.

Nice one. I think my son had an Indy set. He's still into the Star Wars ones now. I do like a set with some moving parts. I made a dancing Groot the other day. I have some vouchers that may go towards another set soon.
