Building A Lego MTT
A few weeks ago, I bought a fairly large bundle of Star Wars Lego sets, and the only problem with them was that they were fairly dirty.
I cleaned and disessembled all of them, and that took me a fairly long while.
I neatly put each set into sandwhichs bags for the purpose of storing then until I knew I'd have the time to rebuild them. That time has come.
This is what I mean about the bags.
As you can tell by the sheer amount of Lego in this bag, this set is very big.
It's actually a bit daunting to look at it this way, so the first thing I did was I started organising the pieces into piles to make it a bit easier on myself.
The only problem with organising the pieces is that it's time-consuming.
The first part of this set completed.
The MTT houses a little skiff, and there is also a weapon rack that you can load onto this transporter when the control station disembarks.
Little things like this really increase the playability of a set like this, and due to its scale, it makes sense to have some pieces like this housed inside of it.
It's essentially a mobil fortress of sorts.
This is as far as I got within two hours today.
By the time I finished work and got back home, it was getting near the time to collect Kaleb from creche, so I didn't get as far as I would have liked to.
Tomorrow, however, I have essentially nothing planned, so it'll be dedicated to building this, and I might even squeeze another set in while I'm in the zone.
Aimee helped with the organising today, which did speed up the process, so maybe I can recruit her tomorrow as this one is nearing completion.
