Bounty Hunters, We Don't Need Their Scum
I bit the bullet and bought them, and I'm not disappointed.
These figures are kickass, the quality is good, the level of detail is amazing, and they'll make for some great display pieces.
Originally I only wanted the 6 bounty hunters, but I got Bib Fortuna and Cad Bane too in this particular bundle.
They are all really great looking figures, and as mentioned in a previous post when talking about buying these, I said that the reason I wanted the bounty hunters in particular was because... well, they're cool, but mainly because each one is unique. And unique they are.
Here is a closer look at half the group.
I have to say, Cad Bane is one who stands higher in my regard than I thought he would. The figure is great.
IG-88 I'd rate lower because he's an awkward fecker, but is cool. As are Dengar and Bosk.
I think Dengar's name is basically Danger with the letters mixed up. He's a cool figure, and it was only recently that I realised that his armour is actually Stormtrooper armour painted. Meaning that him setting foot on an Imperial Cruiser was a lot more ballsy than I previously realised.
Here is the other half of the group.
Bib Fortuna looks fairly cool.
4-Lom (The one in brown) was always my favourite from that scene.
Zuckass is cool, too and always stood out to me. In the lore, Zuckass, I think, was basically a robotic assistant to 4-Lom, which is apparent based solely on the fact that they look alike.
Boba Fett is also really cool looking, with plenty of moveable and removable parts.
They're all very posable, and due to the detail alone, the 6" figures would make for really good display pieces. I'm thinking of a diorama for these guys, but it could be a while before it comes to fruition.
For now, them being on the shelf like this will have to do.
One figure in particular in this line that I'd love to get my hands on is the Gramorian Guard. They look absolutely sick, but in the shops, they're about €40, so I'll keep my eyes peeled, preferably for an unboxed one with maybe a slightly cheaper price tag.
All in all, I got this set for €12.50 a piece, and I think that is a really fair price for the 8 of them.
That's a nice set and not too crazy expensive. If you just want to display them then you can compromise on them being perfectly packaged.
Enjoy!
That's the thing, originally I was going to aim to buy all of these in their boxes, but when I see these for sale out of the box I had to get them. I'm happier to be able to actually see them properly and a display would be much better like this, rather than a bunch of boxes on the wall
