Back To Valhalla
Today I got an email which I was half expecting, while at the same time completely shocked/ excited by.
I'm Hopefully Getting Back on Set
I received an email from the studio that produced the Vikings TV show and Valhalla, and they are getting back to filming a new season.
I've always loved extra work, but the 3 seasons of Valhalla were the best I'd ever done. Most days on any production, and in general, the best fun I've ever had.
The days are long, and the weather can make some days unbearable, but there is real camaraderie among the extras, and that makes the entire experience amazing. Also, we're well looked after, so that too makes the days worth it.
I have really missed the days on set with everyone, and I often find myself reminiscing whenever I'm with anyone I was out there with.
This Season
They'll be starting in July, and wrapping up at some point at the end of November, so that'll be a great run of the show.
Also, if they're back now, that means we could get going again in May, as we did the other times, and it'll potentially be May to November, which would be even better and more of a chance to get a good amount of days.
Currently, I'm working out how I'll juggle it with working in the jail, but as far as I can work out now, it should be fine.
I can switch my days in jail to weekends, and have one day in the week as a floating day, which - hopefully - I'll be able to move around based on days I'm offered on set if my supervisor is okay with that, of course.
It's the sort of gig that if I say no to too many days, eventually they'll just stop asking. One or two is fine, but if it were constant, that's an issue.
This One Will Be Different
I requested a form to fill out for Kaleb, so there may be days when the two of us are going out together, which will be amazing.
Seeing him in little Viking rags would be cool, and I'd say he'd love it out there.
Any money he earns, we'd put into his savings account, which has been accumulating nicely over the last couple of years.
that's cool - hope it works for you!
Thanks man, it'll be great, I'd be great even getting 5-10 days out there.

Sounds like a great gig. Did some extra work in a made for TV movie on Martha Stewart.
Buy some Bitcoins. Saylor claims you'll only need 0.01 sats to avoid being a techno surf. 😉
