A Few Things I Picked Up

I was doing a bit of floating around, and came across a couple of things that I had to get.

DVDs aren't something that I would like to try and sell, even though there are some good deals to be had in one shop in particular. They have a deal of 5 DVDs for €2 which is unreal, but DVDs in general don't seem to sell, and I'd rather not have a massive horde of them.

I saw this boxset for €2 and had to pick it up.

28 Days Later is a great film, I remember my dad bought a box set of videos years ago, which had this, Wolf Soldiers, and Resident Evil in it, and we watched them all, together, and it they were such great movies.

28 Days Later became a bit viral recently, and copies were going for hundreds online, but it was short-lived, and it seems to be back down to earth these days.

28 Weeks Later is good, but not as good as the first one.

It was funny though, because me and Aimee were talking about these movies only the night before, and I asked if she ever saw it and she said no. So, seeing this was the universe's way of telling us to watch it.

I've always liked Gladiator, and seeing this sealed extended edition of it was a decent find.

The second one is out now, and depending on how good it is, the price might inflate a bit for the original movie, which tends to happen with other products. I don't know if it will or not, but I went out on a whim just incase it does.

Having a sealed version of this is fairly cool, regardless of whether or not it sells.

I saw this and decided to snag it.

It was the only decent game in the shop, so went out on a whim and picked it up.

I got it for €4 and it seems to go for about €15-€20, which is fairly decent.

I have The Goblet of Fire game too, so I might bundle the two of them up together and sell them like that, which seems to be the best way of unloading some of these games I've picked up. They're moving, albeit slowly.

It is in really good nick, with its booklet, and the disk is in pristine condition.

It begs the question, what else was handed in, in that bundle when they were dropped off? Typically if someone is dropping things down to a shop, they do so as a large load, rather than one or two items.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share some of these here, as I've said before, I'm not picking any large collections up, for the time being, but if I see something I like, I can be tempted. This stuff only cost me €10, and I'm fairly happy with that.

I'm assuming that nobody really wants DVDs apart from certain special ones. A friend bought a load in bulk, but I doubt even the charity shops would want them. Streaming has taken over. I hope you can sell yours anyway.

Certain DVDs can go for good money, so buying a bulk collection could easily pay for itself if you know what you're looking for. I wouldn't though, because the space they'd take up is too much. If I had the space though, I'd consider it.

I bought these for myself, first and foremost, but decided I would put them up, just to see if they sell. If not, no biggie.
