Forest Folk Festival Contest - Prompt 2: Dancing Fireflies

This is my drawing for the contest. I imagined happy forest creatures dancing under the magic lights of glowing fireflies. I wanted it to feel fun and dreamy, like a little magical night in the woods.

I tried using soft colors for the background and bright golden lights for the fireflies to make the scene warm and magical. The forest folk are moving and celebrating with joy, full of life.
For the hands and feet, I added them while polishing the final edit — at first, the characters didn’t have any! I just played around and made a quick attempt at drawing a hand as a simple line with no shading or base color. It gave them a fun, ghostlike look, and I decided to go with it for all the characters.

The inspiration came from imagining a magical woodland gathering where playful spirits come to life under glowing fireflies. I wanted to capture that feeling of joy, mystery, and connection with nature that you can only find in enchanted forest stories.
