Been successful is a gradual process you don't just wake up in a day and be successful you have to pay the price of hard work to attain the heights you wish for yourself.
Success is far from a lazy man who sits back at home doing nothing but to sleep and eat. Some people have low mentality in the sense that once a member of their family or friend is successful they feel relaxed instead of them to also work hard for their's and be successful like that person.
Once family members have problems they will all run to that successful person in the family assuming that person that worked hard was as lazy as the others there will be no one to help them with their problems.
Success is attached to your name alone when you become successful, your success is for you and not the family at large.
Hard work pays in such a way that you work just to have everything in abundance and when you become successful, your generation to come won't have to suffer because you've worked for them to enjoy the results of your hard work.
But that doesn't stop you from teaching your children to work hard and also be successful for themselves so they won't turn out to be lazy children and if they depend on the success of their parents to survive,they won't value it cause they don't know what it takes to be successful in life.
