Dieses Mal geht es nicht gegen ein Prügelteam, sondern gegen Elfen. Ein Fest sagt ihr?
Naja Dunkelelfen sind schon eklig als Gegner. Vor allem, wenn sie praktisch alle Block und Dodge haben und ich kein Tackle.
Schauen wir mal auf die Teams:
It's about promotion
This time it's not against a beating team, but against elves. A party you say?
Well, dark elves are disgusting as opponents. Especially when they practically all have block and dodge and I have no tackle.
Let's take a look at the teams:
Herzbrecherz [Dark Elf]
Wie eben bereits geschrieben verfügen die Dunkelelfen über 6 Block Dodge Spieler. Alle Blitzer und die beiden Hexen haben Blodge. Dazu kommt noch eine Mischung aus Side-Step, Tackle, Sprint und Strip Ball.
Ergänzt wird das Team um zwei Läufer, wobei der mit Block auf -1 Movement hat, sowie 4 Lineelfen mit einer bunten Kombinaton von Fähigkeiten. Zumindest der Meuchelmörder darf verletzt nicht mitspielen.
As we have just written, the Dark Elves have 6 Block Dodge players. All blitzers and the two witches have Blodge. There is also a mixture of side-step, tackle, sprint and strip ball.
The team is completed by two runners, whereby the one with Block has -1 Movement, and 4 line elves with a colorful combination of abilities. At least the assassin is not allowed to play injured.
Goddelau Greenskins [Kheldar]
Meine Greenskins müssen auf ihren Star Quarterback verzichten. Dafür wurde ein Rookie angeheuert. Dennoch habe ich ebenfalls nur 12 Spieler.
Ohne Tackle bin ich auf das Pow beim blocken angewiesen. Da Zonrex über einen deutlich höheren Teamwert verfügt kann ich einen Wizard anheuern, was ich auch tun werde.

Without a tackle, I have to rely on Pow to block. Since Zonrex has a significantly higher team value, I can hire a Wizard, which I will do.
Spielbewertung
Zonrex nimmt noch 50.000 aus seiner Teamkasse und kauft sich dafür ein Bloodweiser Babe. Somit habe ich nicht nur 160.000 verfügbar, sondern sogar 210.000. Ich kaufe also einen Wizard und nehme für 50.000 Bomber Dribblesnot einen Goblin Star-Player mit hinzu.
Da beginnt auch schon mein Verhängnis. Zonrex meint Starplayer vor allem Bomber sind nicht erlaubt. Wir warten 30 Minuten, bis ein Admin verfügbar ist, der es aber auch nicht klären kann.
Ich mache das Angebot, den Bomber wie einen normalen Goblin zu spielen. Leider hatte ich ihn bereits aufgestellt und er bleibt nur für einen Drive wegen Secret Weapon. Aber egal. Hauptsache spielen.
Dann kann es losgehen. Zonrex gewinnt den Münzwurf und geht in die Offensive. Er würfelt eine Pitch Invasion und drei meiner Spieler liegen Stunned am Boden. Das macht meine Verteidigung natürlich nicht leichter und Zonrex kann früh nach vorne ziehen.
Mit etwas Glück kann ich in meinen ersten Zug direkt 3 mal das Pow legen und so seine Block Dodger zu Boden schicken.
Die Freude währt jedoch nicht lange. Ich lege zwar viele Pows, jedoch auch eine Menge Double Skulls, so dass ich recht schnell durch meine Re-Rolls rase. Zonrex verbraucht auch Re-Rolls kommt aber dennoch gut durch und scored in Zug 4. Zumindest habe ich einen Line Elf getötet.
Ich habe also 5 Züge Zeit zu kontern. Der Ball kommt kurz hinter meine Line. Gleichzeitig gibt es eine Perfekt Defense und Zonrex kann seine Line stärken.
Mehr Blocks für mich denke ich und eigentlich sieht es auch gut aus und ich kann auf beiden Seiten seine Spieler zur Seite drängen und den Ball hinter der Line etwa sichern.
Doch dann beginnt die Elfenmagie. Die Hexe kann sich mit zwei 1 Würfelblocks von der Seitenlinie befreien und meinen Blitzer umlegen. In der Mitte schafft es ein weiterer Blitzer mit einem 1 Würfelblock einen Black Ork auf den Ball zu pushen, der dann in Richtung der Elfen dotzt.
Es sind zwar noch Orks von mir dran, und die Elfen können den Ball nicht aufnehmen, aber als ich in meinem 5. Zug den Ball aufnehmen will (4+ wegen Regen), schafft es meiner Werfer trotz eingebautem Re-Roll leider nicht. Der Ball bounced auf meinen Blackork der eine 6+ bräuchte und dann auf einen Elfen, der eine 4+ braucht und diese natürlich sofort würfelt.
Damit habe ich jetzt nicht mehr 3 Runden Zeit, um das 1:1 zu machen, sondern muss erstmal das 0:2 verhindern.
Um das zu schaffen, benutzt ich in meinem Zug 7 dann noch den Wizard und kann den Ballträger, der sich vor meine Endzone positioniert hatte umwerfen. Den Ball kann ich dieses mal sichern, aber habe keine Chance auf ein 1:1.
Halbzeit 0:1 bei 0:1 CAS. Der Tote Elf war ein Push in die Fans. Meinen Troll heilt der Apo, da er auch gestorben wäre.
In der zweiten Halbzeit erhalte ich erneut den Ball. Dieses Mal geht der Kick tief und ich kann dank Quick Snap meine Spieler ein Feld weit ziehen.
An der Line gelingt nicht viel. Ich kann aber zumindest im Rückraum den Ball aufnehmen.
Zonrex kommt über die Linke Flanke mit einer Hexe und blockt sich rechts erneut mit einem 1 Würfelblitz durch meine Verteidigung, so dass der Werfer früh angegangen wird.
Ich baue in Zug 10 einen behelfsmäßigen Cage in meinem rechten Rückraum, kann aber nicht viele Orks heranziehen. Zonrex erhöht den Druck und bekommt seinen Sitestepper neben den Ballträger.
Ich kann mich nochmal befreien und ein paar Felder vorziehen, bin aber sofort wieder umringt von Elfen. Ich denke über einen Chain-Push nach, aber der Elf den ich pushen müsste ist der Side-Stepper. Das bekomme ich nicht zugestellt.
Es kommt wie es kommen muss. Meine Blocks funktionieren nicht, alle Rerolls sind weg und mein Troll landet auf der Nase. Gleichzeitig stehen noch diverse Elfen um meinen Werfer herum.
Ein Block und der Ballträger geht zu Boden. Ein Elf nimmt den Ball ohne Schwierigkeit auf und übergibt ihn an eine Hexe die Zug 12 direkt vor meiner Endzone steht, ohne Chance sie zu erreichen.
Der Rest ist schnell erzählt. Meine Blocks bleiben schlecht. Nach dem 0:2 spiele ich auch nicht mehr wirklich. Zusätzlich verliere ich einen Black-Ork fürs nächste Spiel mit einem gebrochenen Bein, was ihm dauerhaft -1 auf die Bewegung beschert.
Am Ende geht es 0:2 bei 0:3 Cas aus. Beschämend für Orks gegen Dunkelelfen, aber zum TEil auch einfach den Würfeln geschuldet. Stark gestartet, und grausam geendet.
Game evaluation
Zonrex takes another 50,000 from his team fund and buys a Bloodweiser Babe. So I not only have 160,000 available, but 210,000. I buy a Wizard and add a Goblin Star player for 50,000 Bomber Dribblesnot.
That's where my doom begins. Zonrex says Star Players, especially Bomber, are not allowed. We wait 30 minutes until an admin is available, but he can't sort it out either.

Then we're ready to go. Zonrex wins the coin toss and goes on the offensive. He rolls a Pitch Invasion and three of my players lie stunned on the ground. Of course, this doesn't make my defense any easier and Zonrex can move forward early.
With a bit of luck, I can lay the Pow 3 times on my first turn and send his Block Dodgers to the ground.
But the joy doesn't last long. I play a lot of Pows, but also a lot of Double Skulls, so I run through my re-rolls quite quickly. Zonrex also uses up re-rolls but still gets through well and scores on turn 4. At least I've killed a Line Elf.
So I have 5 turns to counter. The ball comes just behind my line. At the same time, there is a perfect defense and Zonrex can strengthen his line.
More blocks for me, I think, and it actually looks good and I can push his players aside on both sides and secure the ball behind the line.
But then the elf magic begins. The witch can free herself from the sideline with two 1 dice blocks and knock down my blitzer. In the middle, another Blitzer manages to push a Black Orc onto the ball with a 1 dice block, which then bounces in the direction of the elves.
There are still orcs around the ball and the elves can't pick up the ball, but when I try to pick up the ball on my 5th turn (4+ due to rain), my thrower unfortunately doesn't make it despite the built-in re-roll. The ball bounces onto my Blackork, who would need a 6+, and then onto an elf, who needs a 4+ and of course rolls it immediately.
This means I no longer have 3 turns to make it 1:1, but have to prevent the 0:2 first.
To do this, I use the wizard on my turn 7 and can knock over the ball carrier who had positioned himself in front of my end zone. This time I am able to secure the ball, but have no chance of making it 1:1.
Half-time 0:1 at 0:1 CAS. The dead eleven was a push into the fans. The Apo heals my troll, as he would have died too.
In the second half I get the ball again. This time the kick goes deep and I can move my players one field thanks to Quick Snap.
Not much succeeds at the line. But at least I can pick up the ball in the backfield.
Zonrex comes down the left flank with a hex and blocks his way through my defense on the right again with a 1-dice blitz, so that the thrower is tackled early.
I build a makeshift cage in my right rear on turn 10, but can't draw many orcs. Zonrex increases the pressure and gets his sitestepper next to the ball carrier.
I can free myself again and move forward a few squares, but I'm immediately surrounded by elves again. I think about a chain push, but the elf I need to push is the side stepper. I don't get it delivered.
It comes as it must. My blocks don't work, all the rerolls are gone and my troll lands on its nose. At the same time, there are various elves standing around my thrower.
A block and the ball carrier goes down. An elf picks up the ball without difficulty and hands it off to a witch who is standing turn 12 right in front of my end zone with no chance of reaching it.
The rest is quickly told. My blocks remain poor. After the 0:2, I don't really play anymore. In addition, I lose a Black Orc for the next game with a broken leg, which gives him a permanent -1 to movement.
In the end it's 0:2 with 0:3 Cas. Shameful for orcs against dark elves, but partly due to the dice. Started strong and ended horribly.

Trotz der Niederlage kann ich meinen 3. Platz halten. Zonrex steigt auf Platz 1 auf. Wenn ich es richtig gesehen, habe fängt er in der 3. Saison ein neues Team an, so dass sein Aufstiegsplatz frei wird. Damit steigen in unserer Division schonmal die Plätze 1-4 auf.
Wenn ich das letzte Spiel gegen Marera's BB Neutronen Stars mindestens unentschieden spiele, sollte das drin sein. Ein Sieg wäre aber sicherer.
Standings after game 8
Despite the defeat, I can keep my 3rd place. Zonrex moves up to 1st place. If I've seen it correctly, he starts a new team in the 3rd season, so his promotion place becomes free. This means that places 1-4 in our division will be promoted.
If I play the last game against Marera's BB Neutronen Stars to at least a draw, that should be possible. But a win would be more certain.
Teamentwicklung
Keine Touchdowns und keine Cas geben auch keine SSP. Einzig der MVP gibt 4 Punkte auf einen Blitzer mit Guard, der nun 6 SSP hat.
Mein Black Ork wird mir gegen das Chaos Team von Marera sicher fehlen. Dafür kommt zumindest der Werfer wieder zurück und mein verletzter Troll hat regeneriert, so dass er auch spielen darf. Ansonsten wäre es wirklich dünn geworden.
Team development
No touchdowns and no cas also give no SSP. Only the MVP gives 4 points to a blitzer with a guard, who now has 6 SSP.
I will certainly miss my Black Ork against Marera's Chaos Team. At least the thrower is back and my injured troll has regenerated so that he can play. Otherwise it would have been really thin.
Saisonabschluss
Spiel Nummer 9 wird dann auch das letzte Bloodbowl Spiel, welches ich auf Youtube und Hive dokumentieren werde. Ich mache die Saison noch fertig und dann konzentriere ich mich wieder auf andere Themen. Spielen werde ich BB aber wohl weiter, Muss ja hoffentlich in der ersten Liga ran.
