yep and the key difference between SURGE and HBD (other than the fact that SURGE pays a higher yield) is that SURGE still lets you capture unlimited potential upside
The conversion option to convert 50 SURGE to 1 LSTR means you have unlimited upside if/when LSTR passes $50/LSTR in price
So picture this:
- You buy SURGE at initial offer for ~$0.90 today
- You earn yield (16.67% APY paid as HBD or LSTR weekly)
- 3 months from now, LSTR is worth $55
- SURGE starts surging in price - because the conversion value is now $55 per 50 SURGE = $1.10
Now say LSTR goes to $100 - which I think is likely - 1 SURGE will now be worth $2
So you get to sit back and collect yield while you wait for the inevitable rise in LSTR price to 2x your holdings. Might be 3 months. Might be 6 months but it will happen eventually

BIINGO!!!
People need to understand this.
I am looking at it right now, getting to understand how it works but by bit.
Yeah that is why @khaleelkazi and I are focused on posting threads over and over about this stuff.
Trying to help the Lions understand what is being offered and how to navigate it. These are different assets providing different utility.
Omo🙆 what am I waiting for. Need to get funds from whenever possible to get my 100 Surge asap.
so indirectly SURGE is also linked to the amount of LEO held by @leostrategy. Awesome .
How do you choose whether you get your yield in LSTR or HBD?
It's actually hard to keep up with what's going on 🤯
I'll buy some today!

❌ Insufficient LSTR tokens!
Minimum required: 10 LSTR
Hold more LSTR tokens! 💰
Phewwww so much to take in
Still in your scenario the return on LSTR (and LEO) would be much higher than on SURGE, and you can earn yield on LEO by delegating, no? What am I missing, other than I want to support LEO / LSTR and that's why I bought some SURGE? 😀
