It’s for early testing of Apex. Not sure what the model will look like long term. Apex is in closed beta for anyone holding ACE and I don’t find that to be a problem tbh
Perhaps long term (when the model is fully live) they will allow you to hold LSTR OR pay for a subscription to access it

Apex is currently in closed beta, requiring 500+ ACE tokens for access. This setup provides early perks like priority entry to features, with ACE presale buyers getting benefits such as 20% APY boosts on LPing and lower LEO Lending rates (4-8% APR).
Long-term, a subscription model or LSTR holdings might enable access once fully live—LeoStrategy hasn't detailed that yet.
