RE: LeoThread 2025-06-26 16:51

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Anyone who complains that curation by @leo.voter is focusing on Premiums is not currently Premium

Sorry, closing the feedback loop is important. YOU STILL EARN LEO when you post and aren't premium

@leo.voter voting you is extra incentives to go premium. If you're not premium and don't get EXTRA CURATION, what is so wrong about that?

For example, you go to a restaurant and you eat dinner. They offer a 15% discount to customers who are regulars

Are you mad because you can still eat but don't get the discount? Want the discount, be a regular. That's the point of an incentive

I'm with you! Totally agree, not even because I'm premium just makes sense it's totally fair the free lunch was not gonna last forever folks

There is no such thing as FREE LUNCH

Or at least not indefinitely free samples come out of someones pocket as a marketing expenditure

It should be specific to #premium. Community grow together. Give and take pretty normal phenomena in everyday life. So why complaining.

Good example, Nice explanation.
I am thinking I should do the same - exclude nonpremiums from my curations

Completely up to you as a LEO Stakeholder

As a stakeholder, you get to choose who you support in terms of who you think is supporting the ecosystem the most

Anyone who is premium is actively contributing $10 per month to the SIRP

Are they worth curating more highly than someone who is not actively contributing to the SIRP and instead are just earning rewards?

Could another lever be that IF they for some reason can't afford Premium, they at least have @leofinance set as some material % (5% or more) as a beneficiary? Since all beneficiaries buyback LEO and deposit them to the SIRP?

The community must find it's balance in this. The SIRP aligns incentives and shows who is contributing and who is just taking and leaving

you changing this could change a lot for inleo. People love your upvotes due to the size. It would make premium even more valuable.

Even I do agree (and I am not premium, saving for 10bucks though). My only 'concern' is HiveWatchers getting angry because they could maybe see it as pay4votes. I wouldn't agree with them though...

Yeah but it's not paying for votes, the votes are based on quality (if you're premium and post nothing but a picture, @leo.voter won't vote you)

The key is this: we pull the list of who to curate from Premiums

Then we manually review each blog and thread for quality

Makes sense!
As said, I completely agree with the decision of voting solely on premium lions, although I am not one myself (for now).

Thanks for your response!

I agree, and totally worth it. Especially for us who post multiple threads a day and create long-form content as well. 👍Did my calculations and just makes sense to go Premium.

I am just echoing what was mentioned above....How long until the overseers on the blockchain start downvoting leo voter curation lol You know they look for anything to slag off LEO...

That being said, I'm a HUGE fan of premium getting votes!

That will be the nail in their coffin

They're already ruining the desire of newcomers, the final thing to do is ruin the desire of existing projects

I agree with you khal. Whatever you said is fair enough.

Sorry, I have to laugh. 😅 I never thought about complaining. I know when I go Premium what I would get and when I'm not Premium, guess what? I get it not. People nowadays want everything for free. Crazy!
