Both Momo & Denji

Which anime characters do you identify with?, this weekly prompt had me thinking and scanning literally all characters from animes I have watched that I aligned with, I thought of quiet of number of them 😂, but I don't really identify with just one person entirely, I see myself in pieces of different characters.

If I were to mention my favourite characters and what I love about them that would be easy, but whom I identify as is much deeper. And after thinking hard, the character whose journey mirrors my own in a quiet, powerful way is Momo Yayoroazu from My Hero Academia.

I think at first glance you might not see it. She's the rich genius class rep who can create anything from her skin, and I'm just a regular girl going about my own things. But looks closely and you will see it. Momo has every tool for success, intelligence and quite a powerful quirk and respect , but she often hesitates , She overthinks, she questions whether she's truly worthy of the position she's in, she had self doubt and that Sounds familiar to me, I may not be creating shield, cannons and other stuffs but I know what's it's like to have potential and still feel stuck in your own head. That gap between what you could be and what you are in the moment. Yhup I live there too. Also Momo biggest growth came when she stopped doubting her own decisions and started acting with confidence. I am too on that journey, learning to trust my voice, my choices and my unique path even when it doesn't look like everyone's else's. Momo later regained her confidence though.

Momo isn't the loudest voice in the class but she leads with preparation, kindness, a sharp mind and in all very respectful. I see that in my self whether I'm guiding kids, teaching or just encouraging someone or just being the calm one in my friend group. I may not have creation quirk like Momo but I align with her.

The next character is Denji from chainsaw man hear me out, Denji is a very simple character who has clear goals, and out to just be happy and live life no complications and nothing, deep down I feel , he's the best description of simplicity, I too love simple things, I find joy in little things that make me happy, like having a good meal, watching a nice movie and having a great time, I don't need go round the globe to be happy, aside this Denji and I have nothing else in common 😂 but then I really like his character and humour,

So basically this is the two characters I identify with,

Probably there is a character out there I perfectly align with but I just haven't watched it yet.
Hopefully one day I find that character.
