RE: 2006 Federal Republic of Germany 10 Euros 650th Anniversary of the Hanseatic League Silver Coin.

I thought this coin was going to be a boring dive but I am surprised by the lack of history taught from this unique thriving trade guild that was democratic, enterprising and most of all non-governmental guild, all existing in the same sentence in the medieval era.

For thousands of years Ships represent power, trade and communication after all, It's history.
Collecting ships are fun collecting to me.
