RE: 1967 Canada Silver 10 Cents

Thanks Sis 🍁
There is a problem with the weight specifications with these 1967 varieties, forgotten was the weight of the 0.500 silver 10 cents. The weight 0.500 should be in the range of 2.16 to 2.22 g taking into account wear & tear with acceptable machining variance, whereas the 0.800 silver 10 cents is 2.33g. Nickel metal should be 2.07 of which do not exist in circulation but in the trial strike only.
In a nutshell, 0.800 wt is not the same as the 0.500 silver coin.

Yes, it's the first thing I checked! I weighed them all in one shot, sometime ago . My dimes and they were close to an average of 2.33 being that they were not circulated.
Happy Canada Day, @kerrislravenhill !
