I own a small home that needed considerable TLC through the years. To save some cash I learned to do my own fixes and renovations, Some were urgent, others could wait, cuts, bruises, sore back but they were almost all done. It was worth signing the $195,000CAD mortgage for 25 years ago. Big or small I had the odd disaster yet survived through it. Look at it as learning new skills.
