From Trash to Thriving: The Cactus Comeback Saga
Who would have thought it would survive? I simply rescued it from the side of the trash can, and when I found it, it was completely dry and lifeless.

I picked it up and decided to place it in a Styrofoam cup with some coconut husk and water, hoping it would survive.

What you see in the picture is the one-week cactus since I picked it up from the trash. And it can be seen in the picture that he is in good shape.

You can also see that it has already sprouted baby cactus shoots on its body. However, it still shows some slight darkening due to its initial dryness.

This is a picture taken three weeks later. The leaves have multiplied, and the baby cactuses have grown on its body. I'm hopeful that it will bloom at the right time.
I'd like to propagate it by carefully removing the baby cacti from its body and transplanting them into separate containers. Additionally, I'm considering using these baby cacti in a different manner, such as creating a miniature natural landscape. I've built a small hut, and I want to enhance its overall appearance.

A kind of Cholla cactus. They are tough and can be very invasive. Keep in very sandy soil and don't water it too much to make it grow slowly
Wow! Thank you so much for the info... ^_^
Planting cacti like this is very beautiful to the eye. But if there is a baby at home, it is very dangerous to plant cacti
No worries, it has a very tiny soft pin only. ^_^
